Good news, a quick and easy way to stop these calls. Just call 866-246-7196 and give the caller's and receiver's phone numbers. They'll verify if the caller's phone number is on their list and add the receiving phone number to the do not call request list.

Card services that are fishing for card information based on a ploy for lower interest rates.
Apparently, the Do No Call Registry doesn't respond when there are only 1,000 or so complaints.

I calmly and politely asked to be removed from his call list. He asked if I could do him a favor. I said sure, thinking it was some sort of survey. He tells me "Suck my c**k and tell me what flavor it is" several times, giggling each time. We receive several calls a day with the same opening recording and we have no idea how to get this nonsense to stop.

This was a call from a credit card interest lowering proposal. I have tried everything to be removed from these lists, including the National Do Not Call list, to no avail. So, I've decided that if I must continue to receive these calls, I'm going to have some fun with them until they stop. If they never stop, well that's ok too; win-win either way. I enjoy telling them I'll take whatever it is they are offering. Then it's a barrel full of monkeys from there. Snorting noises if you can't think of anything to say keeps the numbskulls on the phone longer, laughing, and that takes away from their productivity. Waste their time and have fun with it. And with that, I bid you adieu. PLLLLTT!

Phone number 323-318-3009 Paetec Communications in LA SCAM SCAM SLIMY SCAMMMMMMERS!!!!!!!
First call man with Middle East accent told me personal information regarding my medications. Red flag due to my insurance having notified me they were hacked.
Second call started with a recording saying it was my last chance to get a lower interest rate on my credit card. I held onto the call because I recognized the number. A Caucasian man asked me if I had more than a certain amount owed in credit and I replied it was none of his business. He went silent and I could hear him in the back ground saying "Oh my God, this is the b***h who said she was going to report Omar to the FBI". In the back ground I could hear about a dozen voices, seemingly all male, some laughed and some you could tell were on calls.

I don't use this term often or lightly but I HATE slime like these people. I worked my whole life to have a simple and enjoyable life as I grew older and now I have to worry about every little bit of information I put out into the world. Even this message scares me. I intentionally left out information that could bring more of this slime to my life.

BTW, this call came in the day after I got a Trojan from opening an ad on Yahoo.com by accident, going to cut my nails so it doesn't happen again.
