Caller name: Brevard County Kail
Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster
I do not know anyone in the Brevard County jail and I received a call late at night from the jail asking me to press 1..2..3 to accept or not. I did not accept and hung up. However, the next morning I received a call from the jails financial connect Dept asking me if I wanted to add money to my account and asked for a credit card. I was asked if I wanted to talk to someone which I did the officer then asked for my phone number and was told there was a $4.27 charge to my phone number. I then went down to my local police station to report this and was told this was a scam by one of the inmates and they said it happens all the time. This surely should be against the law.
