called my cell this a.m. but i didn't answer merely because from this type of tn i knew it was spoofed and wouldn't be anyone I wanted to talk with. But ya reporting to Brownback? good luck with any results on that. worthless gov we ever had - unless of course you are very wealthy - then you are in his type of circle so he may help you.. No one knows what company this is - they are scammers and more than likely off shore overseas backroom punks so they can't be prosecuted. best off ignoring the call - or as others have said, play with them and waste their phone time - then they will remove you from their robo dial list because you won't be profitable to them.
when I pressed 1 and got a representative, I asked them to remove my # from their list. He confirmed my # and then asked my age. I told him that was none of his business and he asked again - this time I thought maybe they needed to know if I was at least 18, so I told him I was over 18. he said if you're 20 you have a young p***y but if you're older than that, it's an old p***y. At that point I hung up.
I would love to be able to turn this company in.
I had received calls before, but did not answer and no message was left. Today, I answered the call to receive a recording stating the call was about "important information regarding my credit card account". I just hung up, but am getting tired of this kind of thing. Won't answer again, but wanted to warn others about this suspicious number.
Prerecorded message when I answered. There was an option to press 1 to continue but no option to be removed from the calling list. When I was connected with a real person, he claimed he had no way to remove me from the calling list. He also had access to my Expedia credit report and said that my responding to the automated message constituted permission for him to access my information. When I asked for his supervisor, he said she was "busy." I said I would wait, and asked him for the name of his company so that I could file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. At that point he hung up on me. When I tried to call back the number, 316-300-0000, it rang and rang and was never picked up by anyone.
When I answered, I got a message. It didn't give an option to delete my number from their calling list so when he answered, I politely asked him to remove me from their list. He said, "F@#$ you, F@#$ you, F@#$ you, did you hear me?" I hung up. I called the number back and got a message saying to call Greg at 1-800-800-GREG for assistance. I called the number and got a voicemail. I left a message saying what happened and asked them to call me back. When Greg called back he said they get about 10 calls a day dealing with this same issue and they do no phone marketing. He said they were some sort of law office. If he was telling the truth, I feel sorry for that company whose call back number is being used by these scammers!
This is a fishing scheme. Automated and your only option is to speak to a representative. He is not willing to give out information but tries to elicit credit card and other account information needed to complete identity theft. DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION.
I received this call. I am registered on the no call directory. when i answered they began telling me how cute I sounded and asked what i looked like. i asked for the name of the company and they said why wouldn't i want to talk to them. when i asked the name of the company they said 'take my back'.
Caller name: Barack Obama
Caller (3rd call in as many days and ignored all others) stated he would help me with my credit card payments. Told him I had none. He asked, you don't have any of the main four? I didn't reply but asked for the name of his company and his personal name. He stated CARD MEMBER SERVICES, but that is a scam I knew of.. He then told me his name was "Obama, Barack Obama, you know your President?" I said you bet cha' and just as crooked. He asked if I wanted proof, and I said prove it. He stated to "Look out your window in 5 minutes and you will 2 cars, that will be the government checking you out." I told him, I would look out my window thru my sniper scope, and to be sure he was there so I could "meet" him personally and close up. He promptly hung up at that point.
