I am getting these weird calls that disconnect as soon as I answer. When I attempt to call back it rings for several seconds and then hangs up. Oddly , these calls started coming in after I visited a local dealership and filled out a participation form. Coincidence or my info is being sold? If i knew the nature of the call I could probably tell if they are related or not - but I can never speak to anyone from this number. This is quiet a nuisance to me!
This number called said something about lowering interest rates , was a foreign man I said I wasn't interested he laughed and carried on talking I told him again I wasn't interested and I was with the telephone preference he still carried on speaking and ignored me so I just hung up . These people are a complete pain and very ignorant , we should be able to block these numbers .
I also went to a jeep site on 6/09/2012 and starting recieving the same calls.
I have received several calls from this number. I have not answered because I do not know anyone from this area code. The caller never leaves a message. I also requsted auto info on-line, so may be some connection as I have read several other complaints.
I have looked online requesting printed brochures on Subaru's and Nissan Jukes. Called 3 dealerships locally (in Colorado )- Subaru, Nissan and Mitsubishi. Must be either an online related call, or dealerships get $$ selling leads for something else. Five-six calls a day.
Caller name: nobody there
Yep, me too. I got an email from the local Jeep dealer last night and 2 emails this morning. Then the calls started and I found these other postings having the same experience. An infuriating and very counterproductive part of their sales process. Jeep must have a bunch of Ignoramuses in charge of their marketing efforts. I guess I will stick with GM for my new SUV.
