Caller name: Student Loan Forgiveness Scam

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This scammer calls mobile phone numbers without a pre-existing business relationship and permission from the victim in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. They fail to provide a phone number or physical address when asked, yet further violating the TCPA. Their recording states that the victim's student loans are in danger an the victim only has a limited time to address their loans before things get worse. This is clearly a scam as they call numbers that have never been associated with a student loan, and people who have had their student loans paid off for decades. Do not provide this scammer with any financial information.

On do not call list. Get 3 calls a week from unknown numbers. Sales. Scams. Hang ups. This number is particularly repetitive. I have no student loan. I have no loans. I block the numbers.

They call several times a day and night sometimes its a robo call and others its a man or a woman going by Heather and Alex. If you block the number they just spoof another and continue to call but most the time they sit there and say nothing. when you call it back its always busy. Other times when you call back it will say to press 1 or 2 or 3 and none of the options are real its a fraud scam a lazy internet phone scammer. Turn it into their phone carrier add a trap to your phone or use call trace to get these scammers busted!

I don't have student loans. I told them I had $73K, and played their game. At the end of the call, they asked if I had any questions, I asked if they could remove me from their call list, because I don't really have any student loans. She swore at me and hung up. She called back a few minutes later, and the words she had for me were NOT very nice, lol. They still call, BTW

They incessantly call and text with their scans to help those with student loans. This shouldn't, and probably isnt, legal and even blocking these criminals doesnt stop them.
They just use new numbers to harass and look for suckers.
