Caller name: Service Call

Folks, the best thing you can do is go online look up your state's AG file a complaint, its easy to do. Add that the DNC people have been notified time and time again and they do nothing, another government agency not worth anything. If you know the name of a company and where they are, file a complaint with the BBB I just did that on another company. Also, this company states that their head office is in Rhode Island, don't believe them, but I am ready to call the FBI and local police because they are making statements like they are working with local police and FBI. I have told them not to call me, they just hung up in my face.

caller id just says "Service Call" and they leave no message. stop relying on the Gov't to stop annoying calls - buy a call blocker from Amazon.com. they have a couple for sale that block up to 1500 calls with just a press of a button!!!

Caller name: Security Technologies

They call, over and over and over. Five times in a single day. Week after week. Asking them to stop does nothing. I just want these and other calls to end. It's harassment and nothing is being done to stop this. Phone companies won't allow you to block numbers, which is ridiculous. I have received scam telemarketing calls on my home and cell from over 600 different phone numbers in the past 2 years. Many of them call more than once. I don't know what to do anymore.

Caller name: GE Security Systems

Repeated calls trying to sell GE Security Systems - "installed free of charge". Asking to be placed on caller's do not call list doesn't work - robot has called back sporadically for the past several months.

I am not a home owner and they still call . I have requested my number be removed from their call list. They have several numbers and area codes in use. I wonder if they wear a {coward's} facemask while making these calls. They haven't the integrity to speak to you they hang up. Shame makes you hide your face. Not an honorable company. They are NOT LISTED AS A TOP COMPANY ! No wonder they have to scam people- Offering free stuff. SHAME !!!!

Caller name: ROBO Security Sys call

I love Todd's response! If they call me again, I will do that! I actually answered the call, opted to speak with someone and Christina thanked me for calling her! I immediately explained that she/they had called me. When she asked, I told her I was interested in a security system, but I had a question first. Why are you still calling me when I have (attempted) opted out 3 times and I am on the national do not call list. DISCONNECTED! Yes, I filed a complaint.

When I receive unsolicited junk mail with prepaid return envelopes, I stuff all of their junk into it and send it back with a note to remove my address from their list. I will definitely set up an appointment next time (because they will call again) and waste their time and money. It is exactly what this shady company is doing to us. LET'S FIGHT BACK! Gas is not cheap - hit them in the wallet/pocketbook & let them feel the pain!!!!

Caller name: Service Call

They've been calling me for months, perhaps 5 times a week. I pressed 1 to speak with a representative and then I asked why they were still calling me even though I'm on the do not call list and I've pressed 2 to be removed from their list, the representative said, "How's that do not call list working for ya?" and hung up.

I'm going to look into a device called the Digitone Call Blocker because I'm getting really tired of this.

Next time, I think I'll use this tactic, tell them you are interested. Then ask them to hang on for a second because there's a kn ock on the door and just walk away.

No one answers, I have been told this is a type of robo call that is used to verify a working number has been reached then the number is sent to all the spammers as a good number.

My advice is don't pick up a number you don't recognize. When I get these types of calls, I let them ring and then look up the number on google, etc. When you don't pick these calls up, your number dies on their list. Don't feel a need to pick up and yell at them, likely its either a robot caller that is ringing your number to verify someone will answer or a persistent human caller that doesn't give two s***s if you yell at them or not. Do not pick up strange calls with area codes you don't recognize. When we all remember that, that industry dies.
