Received this call 04/10/2015 at 10:00AM and on the CID it displayed 302-635 -2026 children cancer. I answered and the woman was quite a fast talker as to the call. I'm 68 been around the block. the woman said to donate $40.00 with a credit card I said I don't do credit cards:-) you mail me the information about children cancer with that said I was transferred to another fast woman about where to sent their information. My address was given. If their is not a return envelope with a stamp it gets ripped up. If it does I just sent it back with 0 money.
When you get calls from automated telemarketers press the pound on your phone. you would never guess what happens? YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE A CALL FROM THAT NUMBER AGAIN....PASS THIS INFORMATION AROUND.
A trick from listening to the people who are in the know.

Woman called at 8:25AM!..called asking for lady of house, I was angry she woke me, that's OK, I will call back, I asked who she was calling for: Went on a speel about raising money for children's cancer, would not let me interject. This is the 5th call I have gotten from them, along with mail solicitation..if you google them, one of the 10 WORST charities to donate to...they only give 1/3 of what they collect..pay lavish salaries to top management. The number says land line from Hockessin, DE, but looks like it is rerouted from Philadelphia.

Same experience. Called at 8:15 AM and asked for my wife by name which was mispronounced. As soon as I asked her who was calling, she launched into her spiel for 30 seconds without stopping. Even if this is a legitimate charity, this aggressive call technique does them no favors. I should not have to be bullied into donating to a worthy cause.
