315317@vtext.com was the texter telling me to call 302-223-4547

When you call back it's an automated robot saying its telephone banking and you need to reactivate your card then the voice asked you for your full credit card number.

If you are a moron go ahead and give them your card number.

Text 'Please Call' with no other data. The problem is they are using real companies that should be hammering them, but they continue and the phone companies, who have the software to catch this garbage are not doing a thing, because they get paid on at least one end, and sometimes the other. Time to start the petition at the White House so that we can reach the threshold for some action. At least it would be something we cam all agree with needs attention.

(Urgent Notification.) Call:
302 223 4547

Call the number, computerized female voice welcomes you to "24 hours banking system" and advises that your debit card has been "limited"

Asks you for the 16 digit card number, then your 4 digit exp (MMYY) then your 4 digit pin number.

I entered a random 16 digit card number, then a random exp date then a random pin just to see what it said.

BE CAREFUL

Recd about 5 texts to call this number over a 5 hr period. I wasn't stupid enough to return the call. Not interesed- and don't care who or what it is. I then called my cell provided and reported harrasment- and had number blocked from my cell. Also, they issued me a "sorry for the inconvience" credit of 25 bux- which was a real shocker!

Clearly an attempt to defraud as no indication was given for which bank was requesting the information. No clue how to report something like this barring putting it on a site like this.

Is there nothing Verizon can do to get to the bottom of this? Surely there is a way of reverse tracking the information being sent.
