Have reached the legal mediation office. There is an impending case in the office with my name and social security number. It is imperative for me or my attained attorney to call back in regards to these allegations. If they do not hear back from me or my attorney they will move forward with the case.
Tried to call back, no answer.

like the reports above, I received a call and message from this number stating "You have reached the legal mediation office. There is a pending case in my office involving your name and your social. It is imperative that I hear back from you or your retained attorney regarding these allegations.... " My first thought of course is FRAUD and SPAM. but since the message seem be a person and not a recording I called back. To my surprise they knew me by my number my full name, employer and ss. I did not give them any of this information nor did I confirm that the info they had was correct. I'm very disturbed that they have this. They claimed I have a pending case with Chase Bank and Washington State has pursued the case against me due to fraudulent activity with this bank. Needless to say something is very wrong here because never banked with this institution. Again I didn't offer any info just listened what they had to say. checked court search through Washington state web site. nothing matched. I think scams have gone up a new level ... scary!

Says the same as the other complaints. Starts off with You have reached the Mediation Office- They are calling me, I'm not calling them. Goes on about a case with my name and social and they will proceed unless they hear from me or my attorney.

Received call that they have my social security number attached to a file in their office and that services to process would move forward if I pay them. The last 2 numbers of the social they gave were not mine and the last 2 numbers of bank account weren't mine either. I'm not sure what to do?

The usual empty threats.
1. Educate yourself, learn the laws in your state.
2. Call them repeatedly and harass them. Laugh at them and listen to the frustration.
3. Remind them over and over there's nothing they can do to you.
Do these things, and eventually, they will actually block YOUR number.

This is definitely a SCAM, there are laws against sharing debt information with someone other than the debt owner. They called my mother in law and gave her information on my husband. This is illegal. I'm afraid for a lot of people who are going to fall for this.

Same as other callers. They had Job, SSN and bank info. Said it was a payday loan, which we don't have. Said would file with District Attorney and warrant would be issued if we didn't pay $3,000. Asked who were they collecting for? Name of company, they said they don't have that information. They said name of comps William James & Associates. Theirs is a SCAM!,,,
