This machine called me telling me that my bank card was blocked.. I tried to call back, and Verizon told me that I wasn't able to. I called my bank today, and they told me that it was a SCAM.

Said Mastercard debit card had been blocked. My debit card is a VISA and isn't blocked. Have been called twice, second call didn't leave voice mail. Just deleted the number and won't answer if it calls again... pretty obvious scam because of missing digits in number.

Caller name: Not given

The call came in from an incomplete phone number. When I answered it was a very poorly created automated message. It sounded like someone used the text to speech option on a computer. It stated "We regret to inform you your master card has been locked to prevent fraud. Please press 1 to talk to our security department and we will be glad to assist you."

this number called a pay as you go cell and message said to press one for security department. When you press one it goes back to call from 25363827, press 1 for security in a loop over and over. there is nothing associated with the pay as you go phone so just deleted.

Call came at 6:34pm on October 28. Stated my Chase Mastercard (I don't have one) had been locked, press 1 to continue. I pressed 1 and it asked me to enter my 16-digit card number. That's when I hung up.

Got an automated voice mail at 7:25 from this number saying my debit card is lost and to press 1 and I will be directed to the security department. Called my bank instead and was told it was a scam to get my information so they could start spending my money without me being aware of it. My debit card is not lost - it's in my wallet. This world is full of a**holes.

Received call 9:19am 10/29/13 telling me my Chase mastercard had been deactivated and that I needed to press 1 to reactivate. Only problem is that I don't have a Chase mastercard. Dialed 1 to confront the scammer only to get the same message repeated and was then asked to enter the card number. I'm sure that if I continued it would have asked for the PIN too. The voice was done by a really poor quality text to speech program.

As others have mentioned; my MasterCard debit has been blocked; press 1... Which I did; only to hear the same message. Then I realized I don't even have a MC debit card so I hung up. When I first saw the "253" #; I thought it was a local call because 253 is an area code in Seattle. I didn't see until later that there's only 8 digits...

Called from Kent, WA and said it was Chase Bank and my card had been deactivated, press one to reactivate card. Then they asked for my card number and I hung up. Checked on chase online to see if any such thing had happened to my card. No alerts or holds came up. This is a scam and you should beware. Never give your card numbers to random callers.

Obviously a scam, claimed to be Chase Bank. Since we don't have a Chase card and since the phone# is not complete, they were obviously phishing. Should find a better use for their time..
