Getting multiple calls - no one there even when I answer "Hello" three times before hanging up. Suspect its an automatic dialler and they pick up only if they are successful in completing a call.

I don't talk to machines!

Believe it to be scam as they have called in the past with no response. Should spend time in the lock-up where they might be more productive.

Has called 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Claims I am showing 2 IP addresses on my computer and there is something wrong with my operatiing system on my computer. He claims he takes care of the operating systems for Microsoft. I have not had any problems with my computer. He told me to press the Window button and little r and I would see a run box. My daughter is a software engineer and she told me not to do it because he was trying to get into my computer and for me to hang up. And that is what I did. Then he Kept calling back. I called Microsoft and they told me they do not call people. It wasn't them and it was someone trying to get my information and if I had done what he told me to he could see everything on my computer. I also, called my internet provider the only person whom should know my IP Address and they told me they did not call me. And they were not showing no problem with my IP Address.

Caller tried to sell me services for my Microsoft systems saying that Microsoft has been getting error messages. I use a Mac and have no Microsoft issues. When I told the person on the phone that I maintain all my own systems, he asked me if I maintain my "boobies" and asked "how big are your boobies". Someone needs to stop these guys. They are creeps. I plan to notify the FCC.

Typical "Microsoft Windows center" call. Try to tell you your computer is sending errors to the server or something similar.

My advice to anyone who receives these calls is to hang up and block the number if possible.

I work in Network Security and can tell you that this is a complete scam. They want you to download software that will give them remote access to your PC. Then they will cause problems and say the only way to fix it is to pay them money. They will also attempt to steal any valuable information on your machine including bank account info, usernames, passwords, medical info, credit card info, etc.

Just hang up the phone immediately if they say they are from Microsoft, Windows or anything similar. Microsoft will never call you.

These losers are scammers.

Well I tell you. This guy thinks ppl are stupid, you see I played along with his game. He asked me to go to my computer and hold windows+r
Which brings up run. Harmless right. So he ask to put somthing in the box. So I did but what he didn't get is that instead of get remote access to my computer it showed me his IP address. But it was not his ip. He has a dang ip jumper which is smart. Dosnt know who he would reach and it saves him in getting caught. Well long story short I have a scanner that has been running for about 10 mins tracking his ip beleve me when I find it I will know his name adress and what he is doing on his own computer.

I'll find him. He though I was stupid and I told him I'll find him haha I will when I do everyone on this site will know.

Caller name: Kent WA

Claimed to be Microsoft Tech Support stated that my computer was having problems. These calls occur 2 to 3 times per day and are usually displayed on Caller ID as: TEXAS (or any full state's name) or Kent WA (any city and it's two letter state abbreviation). Many of the numbers follow this format: x*x-555-01xx. Sometimes the numbers are identical except for the area code.

Just got a call from this number, (253)-243-1281...caller ID said 'Kent, WA'. Some guy with a foreign accent said they "detected problem with my computer". I said I don't even have a computer, and he said...you'll love this.... "then why the f...k are wasting my time"! I got to ask him "why the f....k are you wasting my time, a....hole"? Seems these calls are quite frequent anymore, would love to see whoever this is nailed, jailed and fined enough to put him out of his miserable business of annoying people!

Wants to get into my computer while I am on the phone.

Asked me to call back on 253 - 243-1281

Called himself Jack Andrew. Heavy foreign accent. Maybe Indian or Pakistani.

Clear scam. First he said he was from Microsoft, later when asked again said that they were the top trouble shooters on computer (something like that).

He said pc and I said I'm on a Mac and they were suddenly the greatest Mac folks.

Same thing as everyone else. Except I tried to call the number back and it says it is not in service. 253-243-1281 is the number. I called my phone company and blocked the number. Not sure if it will help. It's been about a month since the last time he called. Very broken English.
