Wants to get into my computer while I am on the phone.

Asked me to call back on 253 - 243-1281

Called himself Jack Andrew. Heavy foreign accent. Maybe Indian or Pakistani.

Clear scam. First he said he was from Microsoft, later when asked again said that they were the top trouble shooters on computer (something like that).

He said pc and I said I'm on a Mac and they were suddenly the greatest Mac folks.

The above number is calling repeatedly about a computer account/service that we have not signed up for. When asked how they got our number or to speak to a manager they hang up.

Getting multiple calls - no one there even when I answer "Hello" three times before hanging up. Suspect its an automatic dialler and they pick up only if they are successful in completing a call.

I don't talk to machines!

Got a call at 5:15am. The guy called me David when the line connected. It sounded like he was at a bar with the background noise so loud. If it was a west coast number he should have known calling a CA area code that 5:15am was to early. Woke the whole house up... And I was thinking it was a family member calling about an emergency.

Typical "Microsoft Windows center" call. Try to tell you your computer is sending errors to the server or something similar.

My advice to anyone who receives these calls is to hang up and block the number if possible.

I work in Network Security and can tell you that this is a complete scam. They want you to download software that will give them remote access to your PC. Then they will cause problems and say the only way to fix it is to pay them money. They will also attempt to steal any valuable information on your machine including bank account info, usernames, passwords, medical info, credit card info, etc.

Just hang up the phone immediately if they say they are from Microsoft, Windows or anything similar. Microsoft will never call you.

These losers are scammers.

Well I tell you. This guy thinks ppl are stupid, you see I played along with his game. He asked me to go to my computer and hold windows+r
Which brings up run. Harmless right. So he ask to put somthing in the box. So I did but what he didn't get is that instead of get remote access to my computer it showed me his IP address. But it was not his ip. He has a dang ip jumper which is smart. Dosnt know who he would reach and it saves him in getting caught. Well long story short I have a scanner that has been running for about 10 mins tracking his ip beleve me when I find it I will know his name adress and what he is doing on his own computer.

I'll find him. He though I was stupid and I told him I'll find him haha I will when I do everyone on this site will know.

Believe it to be scam as they have called in the past with no response. Should spend time in the lock-up where they might be more productive.

Caller name: Foreign

This number calls all the time and normally I let it go to voicemail, but we have been getting a lot of marketing calls for businesses on our home phone and I have put our numbers on the DO NOT CALL registry. So I decided to pickup the phone from Kent, WA 253-243-1281. The guy on the phone was noticeably foreign and told me that he worked for Microsoft and they have received errors from our computer and told me to go to my computer while he accessed it. I told him that Microsoft doesn't make outbound calls and that I would call Microsoft directly if I needed help. He continued to push me that he was supposed to HELP me. I told him to lose my number and hung up on him. I know that Microsoft nor any computer company does have outbound callers to do anything to your computers. I am so sick of scammers!

He called and said my Windows computer had been hacked and was vulnerable. I told him that was scary and to hold on while I get the computer. I put the phone down and went back to what I was doing. After a while he hung up. Best is to just waste his time on hold.

Phone rang first time, I answered it. Claimed they were from Microsoft Windows and that my computer was jeopardized by hackers. I hung up, they called 3 more times. The 4th time I answered again, they claimed and assured me it was a legitimate call. Told them I was going to check with local authorities and not to call back again. They have not tried to contact me again. Called MacAfee, my virus protection, and said this is a phishing scam.

Just got a call from this number, (253)-243-1281...caller ID said 'Kent, WA'. Some guy with a foreign accent said they "detected problem with my computer". I said I don't even have a computer, and he said...you'll love this.... "then why the f...k are wasting my time"! I got to ask him "why the f....k are you wasting my time, a....hole"? Seems these calls are quite frequent anymore, would love to see whoever this is nailed, jailed and fined enough to put him out of his miserable business of annoying people!
