Said my email was being used for illegal activities in California even though I live in New York. Wanted me to download software to prevent further illegal activities. I said wasn't home to do research. Found out that as I suspected it was a scam.

Caller name: Microsoft silverlight technical support

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

I've gotten the scan multiple times before where it got me this time and pissed me off was now they have my email address and were able to repeat it back to me which is concerning to me. Thankfully I have a Gmail account with an exceptional password. I decided since this guy wanted to wake me up early on a Saturday morning that I was going to waste his time and started telling him that my husband worked at Microsoft and How funny would be if they worked in the same department. I continued on with this for a few minutes before he got pissed and started calling me names then I hung up.

1st phone call I ignored yesterday. This morning I got a call and answered it and the guy said he was calling from Microsoft and that my computer keeps sending them error messages and they have been trying to send me messages via computer back but haven't got a response. I just hung up instead of wasting my time with these scammers.

Phone rang, caller id showed wireless call coming in. Did not answer, they left no message 930 am. Googled the number and here I am reading info on this phone number and finding info on it. I do not have time for this foolishness. Blocked the call from future calling's. Please notate that my caller Id that I have, stated it was a incoming wireless caller, with no company name. Be aware of incoming calls with people u know that have wireless phones. and what numbers they have within your family and friends...and do not answer if you do not know this wireless # caller. I am continuously getting calls, and if I do not pick up, they do not leave a message. In my opinion if they can not take the time to leave a message, then the call is not important. Therefore, it is not worth my time.

Caller name: Windows Technical Support

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This person actually said my name and asked if it was me, I said Yes and said they were windows technical support, i was confused because i never contacted anyone at windows and knew right away it was a scam. I responded and said what windows, i dont have a windows computer and his responses was "F**K You" so I hung up. It is concerning that this person knew my name. I shouldn't have responded to yes because this person might have been calling to record your voice and use voice recognition for whatever scam they are using it for.

Said he was MS Tech Support, quoted my email address, obviously also has one of my phone numbers. Said, that as a valid Windows customer, he has my CSID, and would verify that so I would know he was a legit caller. I hung up, he called back immediately 3 additional times.

Caller name: "Microsoft" Yeah right

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This person was very nice initially asking how I was feeling. I answered honestly and said "Not well" as I have a terrible cold. He apologized for disturbing my rest then went on to say that my computer was being hacked from someone in California as I live in FL. Well... the computer associated with the email address of mine that he "confirmed" is completely broken. The screen is detached from the keyboard as my toddler stepped on both parts while jumping on my bed. Thus It doesn't work nor hasn't worked in MONTHS. As he explained that I needed to turn on that computer so he could "Verify" my computers IP and other info, I told him that was impossible. He then suggested I use a different devise... Which makes no sense whatsoever.... if the info is being hacked from "That computer" hmmmm. I called him out on that BS and He began to get loud and tell me that I could be arrested for the information being used through my computer... Well I hit him with a load of verifiable facts regarding my background knowledge and what I have access too myself to verify if what he is even telling me is true. I finally asked him, "If I cannot verify this information then I'm basically screwed right?" he replied "yes you are ma'am" I said "Hmmm ok cool, I guess I'll get up and dressed as I suspect that the cops will knock at my door later huh..have a great day" and hung up. These people called my phone 4x this past week and I finally was able to hear someone clear enough this time to find out what this c**p was about. Shame on them and I feel for the elderly people or clueless people who aren't alert enough to NOT give these scammers access to their private info or download their software. I have a Microsoft account that I access regularly, none of these alerts they spoke of existed.

When I told him I wasn't interested in the product he was selling, he asked if I was Spanish. When I asked what that had to do with anything he said because Spanish customers are the worse customers in the world!

So not only are they calling to harass you about selling a windows program for your computer they are now calling you racial slurs!

I informed thia guy that I do not own an apple computer. He then screamed "YOU'RE A LIAR. YOU'RE LYING." I feel sorry for people who fall for this. This should be illegal!
