Yes, I called you a telemarketer. In spite of the first comment, and yes, you can LEGALLY bother me even though I have said I don't want calls, you are just as intrusive and bothersome as the damm telemarketers.

I have said I don't want to be called, just because the law lets you does not excuse you.

Want to be treated nicer? Then respect the wishes of the people on the DNC list and leave us alone. Ignore our wishes, and you get what you deserve. (BTW - I just never answer)

By calling me, you are effectively coming into my home un-invited. I don't know what you think you've been hired to do, but you're there to try to sell me something, or to qualify me for the salesperson to follow. So Miss or Mr. "Interviewer", if you don't want the pushback, you need to get a different job.

Look if I wanted to take a DAM Survey I would have called them ! I do not care to be bothered with this c**p !

As far as the little P.S. be Nice memo that this idiot left .... I say get a REAL job the Title REASEARCHER really means your not employed at the present ! Just so I get this to the right one here is the message they wrote :

Though you can ask them to be placed on their DNC list, and that will prevent that particular research firm from calling you again.
Also, please do not refer to us as telemarketers, it makes you sound stupid, and it makes us seem like a******s. The proper title of the position is telephone interviewer, telemarketer refers specifically to solicitors. Finally, we are people too, so please treat us with respect when we call, and if you would like to reject the opportunity for a survey, there is no need to be rude, just say you're not interested, or ask for our Do Not Call list.

P.S. Saying, "I'm busy right now." and hanging up, or "Sorry I don't have the time" and hanging up, will just earn you a callback at a later time and/or date. So keep that in mind, just try to be polite, and remember the golden rule.

Missed a call right after 9AM. Thankful to you all for giving a heads up, very happy I did not answer, and won't. I also received "voluntary" paper surveys prior to this call via mail. The idiot "Anonymous Telephone Interviewer" did a great job taking whatever empathy I might have for somebody in their position as a surveyor, and put it through a strainer and compactor, belittling us who enjoy privacy, who might "wave around our DNC". Calling their clients idiots... ATI is a s**t spokesperson for "telesurveyors". Who is worse, a marketer that calls, and ceases after being told not to, or a surveyor that argues with your privacy rights and continues to call after being told not to? It's funny to see a cold calling random annoyed by the subjects that they call and bother!

i am continually bothered by someone claiming to be taking a survey based on the quality of care I'm receiving from my Medicaid. I tell them to not call my number, but they are pretty pushy. I was called by one of this company's agents yesterday, he was polite enough and I was curious to see what they really wanted. The survey had relevant questions and seemed legit. But I still felt suspicious. The very next day I received another call from the same area code which was obviously a sales call. It was a recorded message with an offer. I can't help but feel the two calls came from the same center.
I'm glad I gave no personal information other than him verifying my number.
I am sure now tnat I will recurve more calls from this call center.

Caller type: Survey

Got a call from this 239-673-5213 from Thoroughbred Research Group via Medicaid wanting me to take a survey on 6-7-2015.

After the lady rattled on that they mailed two paper surveys and never received them, I said, "NOT interested!" and hung up.

Since they claim in writing the surveys were 'voluntary' I doubt they really are. Not only did they follow-up with an annoying call at 11: 19 am on a Sunday, they also sent me two generic form letters with the surveys and one yellow reminder card implying that I return their surveys because its vital.

Really? It's that important to harass and send me junk surveys that I don't want to answer/ waste my time with? And how is it that I was 'randomly' selected? I doubt that, too.

Since I'm in excellent health they don't need to pry into my personal and private life. And since I can't block this annoying and intrusive research group, I will have to just let the voice mail take it up when they do call back. Needless to say this annoyance has got to stop. There are some people out there that just want to be left alone and live in peace and I'm one of them.

Hey so called telephone surveyor; you are a da%n telemarketer wheat her you like it or not and are scum. I rank you right their with fog crisp I have to scrape off my shoes. You waste my time and my roll over minutes. It matters little I have over 10K roll over minutes but they can be used for better things than listening to your lazy arse trying to sale me something or asking me questions that is clearly none of your business.
Bottom line is it is illegal for you to call and a few fines will show you that. Many states including the one I live in allow $1500 for each call you make once I tell you to STOP calling. Get a real job and get off your fat arse.

The best thing is not to answer the call. You don't have to feel intimidated either. But if they call repeatedly you can bring charges. You can also call your phone provider and make them aware of the harassment, usually they can offer you more information as to what to do in the event they call you repeatedly.

Cape coral, FL. the rude people who call constantly even when asked politely NOT to call are slime. GET A REAL JOB & stop harassing people! Just block their number, but the next day they will call you from a different number, they have lots of spoof numbers as well. These people are calling from their homes using spoof numbers so they call when THEY are awake, call very early, during dinner or late at night. They get paid by the # of calls they make, so don't ever think they will stop calling you just because you politely ask. They are a nuisance & a waste of oxygen.

Dip-squeege telemarketer: Calling someone to acquire information from them IS SOLICITING. The key ingredient as regards the de facto D.N.C. list is profit. Legal for non-profit orgs; illegal for for-profit orgs. In any case, cold-calling people for revenue generating endeavors IS SOLICITING.

This number has called several times asking for my 4 year old child. They call all through out the day, I have asked several times for them to stop calling. I am already on the DNC list. You CAN call an attorney if they persist because once you say please do not call, are on the DNC it IS NOT legal for them to call you. No matter how much some butthurt telemarketer wants to call themselves, you are not an interviewer I am usually nice the first time considering I am on the DNC, it does not excuse you to harass people. And to say if you are rude that will just get you called again... some of us don't have time to sit back and play little childish games. Either way may I suggest as I have handled these harassing telemarketing calls in the past is by filing a complain with the FCC, it is very successful and they usually handle these situations very well, I would also if you have one available contact your attorney, local authorities and such. Harassment is harassment no matter how you want to justify it and that is illegal.

Actually, I used to work for a group called Convergys Research, we were on a random dialer we never knew what number it dialed. Unless we were doing targeted research then we had names and numbers. This particular company got your number because you gave it to that girl on the skeazy dating app. You probably even gave her your email for a pic that of course wouldn't work on her phone. Bet she's on a business trip, or going to school or something on Ghana west Africa. Ever wonder why her number was from Cleveland but she claims to be from your state? Lol that's how I get those numbers at least. Get ya to give it up and sell it to the marketing companies. Pays top dollar specially if you have demographic info. White male early forties lives in this or that neigjbor hood of this or that state. This many kids etc. All those things you tell her while you're getting to know each other. You even yold her what music you like, favorite movies, food, books lol we can sell you all over the place dnc or not. You gave us the info willingly never once saying we couldn't use it. h**l you might have even given us permission, When they said "hey can i give my friend your number they need help on this or that" Don't tell your wife though.

You know, it really does not matter to the person you are annoying with unwanted calls WHAT you call yourself. Researcher? Not from my end of the call, you're not!
Your calls are an intrusion, an irritation, an unwanted annoyance, and once you have been told that they are not wanted or appreciated, you need to back off. You may not be violating the law, but you ARE violating my privacy. And your calls are just as infuriating as a telemarketer's, so where's the mighty difference? Suggesting that people who do not want to waste their time on YOUR call is not the way to win friend and influence people, cookie. When the only answer you get is "never call this number again," it should be enough to clue you in that your calls are NOT going to end in an "interview."
