Caller name: scammer
Had a call like that, too. I thought it was a scam. Chase never calls me. I get bank notifications online. So when the caller claimed he was with Chase, I didn't buy it. Besides, he was using a phone number I did not recognize.
Caller name: chase
i received 2 calls from this number. one at 220am and the other at 11pm. i doubt chase would call at those hours. i called chase the next day and they had no record of that phone number. nor did i have a credit card with the last 4 digits that the called said.
Caller name: Chase Fraud Alert
Called a cellular phone number my wife had a long time ago looking to discuss unusual activity on our Chase Visa. Checked and all the contact info on the Chase account is up-to-date therefore: he is the fraud alert!
Called my cell phone at 7:55 last night, which I don't answer if I don't know the #. Immediately called my house phone & left a message about being Chase Faud Operations. They left an 800# to call along with a reference #. Immediately called the 800 and got answering machine about being closed. Went to Chase this morning and this phone #, along with 800-278-8830 have nothing to do with Chase Bank!
Caller name: Chase
This number called my husband and then called my phone. both cell phones. since niether of us answered the caller went to voicemail. the voicemail said, thank you for calling chase. if you are calling for card member services please press 1 if you are calling report a claim please press 2. We also called Chase and told them and verified that this was not chase calling and there is no association. As you will see when you call back the number goes nowhere even when you press the number one or two. nothing happens. TOTAL FRAUD!!! I think they are hoping to get someone on the line and then get personal info...for sure.
Caller name: Shantee
Left a message claiming to be Chase fraud department "servicing" Amazon.com. Gave a 1-800 and left a reference number, funnt thing is she said "G as in Jennifer", she had an Indian accent, and didn't even realize it shouldn't be "G". I don't think the people they hire know they are working for a scammer.
