I got the same call as you all this morning, but I did pres 9 to speak to someone. The person I spoke with Chris Johnson stated that I had taken a payday loan out over a year ago and never paid it and they were now offering to settle and if I did not I would be served with papers and taken to court. He had my personal banking info/address/work info etc. which is scary. He did give me a different number 216-536-3460. After doing some research, I've learned that these people are ghost debt collectors, they call and say you have a debt, when in fact you don't and try to scare you into paying them. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and you all should do the same.
Please report them to the Ohio Attorney Generals Office immedietly. They are using the name of a very well respected law firm whom helps disabled persons to scam people out of money. Please call the Help Center at (800) 282-0515 and report them.
I received a call from unknown caller and they left an automated message that my attorney or myself have 24-48 hrs to contact then or further action will occur. The message stated that I have a complaint against me with a restraining order. The phone # above was given as a contact #, I called and no one answered and mailbox was full. The companythat was given was LRS Litigation.

They called and stated a restraining order was being put against me . I am in a situation where I was getting a restraining order against someone else. This has to stop as I will be letting the rolice here know about this call I saved it on my phone.
Call them back and just let your TV talk to your phone until you've filled up the scammers' voicemail box. Do this for this number and their 216-536-3460 number. Or leave their other number as the one they should call back. Leave them other scammers' numbers.
I did not answer the phone when they called my house. A couple of weeks ago they called my cell phone. I am sick of them calling me. I will not give out any information, what they think people are dumb. Well this girl is not.

I have received similar calls from this same number and was told that the similar story about being sued for double the amount of the money which total of 1300,00 was willing to negoiate for 665.00. I was suppose to call and start making payments of 50.00 per payday and I could put it on a prepaid debit card. Same story voicemail is always full and when I asked for some paperwork said they couldn't provide with anybody which makes me even more suspicious of them. I had a similar incident with with another company but they however did send me paperwork through my email confirming the agreement we made. Called today because I want something in writing if thats case still cannot get a hold of them..
I received a call from this number and they stated they had a restraining order against me and I need to call them immediately. I returned the call and got an answering machine which stated this number is full. I will not call them again, as I know this is a scam. I will report them further and record their conversations. Thank you.

These people called me from 888-888-88. They leave a message saying what all of the above state. They leave a number, which does not get answered by a live person! I think is a scam...not responding to their requests.

This number calls me and some recorded message--regarding a restraining order and have my lawyer respond in 24-48 hours or they will serve me at my home or work!! When I call back it is a voice mail that is full and leave a number that will be sent to someone's pager! What is this--please stop this
I have been getting the same call the last couple of days saying I had a restraining order against me. I was confused so I pressed 9 to talk to a "litigator" and first off to verify that i was the person I claimed to be he said the last four of my social instead of asking me what they were. Which I thought was weird. Then tells me that I owe a debt of a loan that I supposedly took out last year from Loan.com. I explained to him that I am unable to get actual Loans because I dont have the best credit, and I have never received anything in the mail for anything like that. He said that Loan.com is a parent company to other companies, and I asked him what was the actual company that I supposedly took the loan from? And he stated he could not give me those details or the number to the company that was supposedly suing me. He said that they were suing me for Malicious Fraud, and unless I settled and paid what now turned into over 1000$ I would be served papers and have to go to court, and thats when they would supposedly explain the details of the actual Loan that I took out. I was stressing over this at first, and I told him I wasn't paying for anything that I have no idea about, and he said ok well goodluck in court. But if they supposedly are turning that in for me to go to court, I dont understand why they would still need to call me the next day. So I believe this is a SCAM...and it really upsets me.
