Got call claiming my BAC debit card was locked and to press 1 for their security dept. Hung up right away. I don't even have a BAC account. Total scam, they're trying to steal your account number. Happened before from a different number claiming my mastercard was locked. I hung up and called my bank. They said it was a scam. If you're in doubt, hang up and call your bank yourself.

This number left me a voicemail that was cut off, but mentioned something about an account being locked immediately. I was concerned because I recently purchased new cards, for travel....but clearly this is a scam.

Caller name: none- robocall

Robocall sayiing my Eastern Bank card was locked & to enter my card number. I don't have Eastern Bank and wouldn't enter my card number anyway. Just got 2 similar emails, same M.O., for Bank of Montreal wanting my card numbers. Is anyone going after these people, and why isn't Southwestern Bell Wireless being told their service is being used to commit crimes?

Got a call on my cell phone at 12:45am
saying my master card has been locked and to unlock it press 1.
I was in bed at the time and never answered the phone, but I called the credit card company the next morning, and they said it was probably some kind of scam.

don't ignore them, use a fraudulent number.

If thousands and thousands of people do this then the scammers will go out of business.

if you just ignore it, they will just dial the next number.
