Caller name: automated recording

This number rings my phone twice a day every day for the past couple of weeks, Sunday included. It is an automated recording giving a web site to visit for more information.
I tried calling the number back to ask they remove me from thier call list but it does not accept incoming calls.
I really would like for them to stop calling.

We are on a DNC list and these people call almost every day. We do NOT pick up calls from numbers we don't know.
The caller ID says it is tax relief information which we have NO use for.
How do we STOP these irritating calls??

Today I received a recorded phone from this phone number stating that I should push any key on my phone to sign a petition to Secretary of State Kerry asking him to support the approval of the Keystone Pipeline. Not knowing if "off" would be considered a key, I did not punch any button and had to listen to the recording repeat itself several times before it disconnected.
The issue here is not whether I approve of the Keystone Pipeline, but a "truth in advertising" issue. By "pressing any key" I am authorizing them to sign my name to a petition supporting the pipeline.....if I press "off" am I authorizing my support of this ploy?
I know politics has gotten pretty dirty and under handed on both sides, but I found this call quite troublesome.
