This number called me a few times. One time I picked up, I had no reply. The next time there was a reply. The person asked for me, but mispronounced my name. I asked who is this? The said "James." All they did was ask for my name and when I confirmed they hung up.

I have received several calls over the last few weeks from this number. Each time they called it was either a man or a woman with a very heavy Middle Eastern accent and they ask for an employee who is no longer here. They just called again about 5 minutes ago and I screamed at the man that the employee is no longer here and to remove me from their call list. I don't understand why these types of calls still persist. Between these calls and those stupid "This is Google, you still have not taken advantage of your free Google listing...", it's insane how many "bogus" calls I answer all day long.

I received a call from this number today stating they were from Fedex looking for and gave a name which is my maiden name which has been years since that name has been used. Caller definitely had a middle eastern accent, but that's nothing new. Mentioned a old company that I also worked with and said they had a package to deliver that was coming from oracle corporation. I put them on hold, they hung up. Beware of these scammers! I tried to call the number back 213-285-0943 to see if its fedex, but it just answers and says leave a message, does not identify any company or person.

A man with a Middle Eastern accent called and asked for my boss by name. When I asked him what it was regarding he just kept repeating let me speak to ____. Then he started to tell me that I was wasting so much of his time and being rude by not just simply connecting him and demanding I do so. Then I hung up.

He called back and this time claimed that he was UPS when I asked him what it was regarding. He said he had a package for my boss and need to speak to her directly about getting her the package. When I continued to press for details he hung up.

I have gotten calls like this before and sometimes these guys get very upset and start cursing you out before hanging up. BE WARE.

I reported this incident to the UPS fraud department.

This number called the office that I work at, I answered and said my first name, a man with a middle eastern accent said my last name - I confirmed that was correct. He said that my voice was "so cute" I thanked him and he hung up. I have a pretty unique last name - and it kinda freaks me out that he knew it...

A guy with a middle eastern accent called my extension asking for another employee who works in another building. I transferred him to her extension so he could leave a voicemail. Two seconds later I got a call back from the same number. When I picked it up he told me that he called back to tell me that I had a beautiful voice and he wanted to be Facebook friends. I said thank you, lied about not having a facebook, and tried to wish him well. He kept insisting he wanted to be "honest friends"....more like he was fishing for personal information.

My grandparents purchased an extended warranty from this company and were completely taken advantage of. The warranty was misrepresented at the time of purchase and my grandparents did not receive the coverage they were promised when they needed it the most. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone else. These businesses are designed to find the reason they can't help you and they write the contract in such a way that the law allows them to commit legalized fraud. Their customer service is nonexistent and they offer no support. Complete scam!

This number called my office today, asked for me by name and when I replied, "speaking...", they hung up. Figured it was a scam right away but more concerned about how they got my direct number and my name (not many people have that)...sounded like an Indian guy, line quality was bad and when I called back, I got the full voicemail as others describe.

Has anyone seen any fallout from these calls? Whatever about the how, I am concerned also about what is next...

A guy with a heavy accent, maybe middle eastern, called to find out prices for our dental treatments. This is the second time he calls in two days. First time he said his name was Rash, Now Zach Gabriel. He never wanted to schedule an appt. He only wanted to know the fees and instead that he had no insurance. I know what are the type of questions a new patient ask, and this was fishy, it was like someone just trying to get information, who knows why.

I see there are many complaints about this number. Clearly this is someone who is attempting to get information from people and use it fraudulently. Is there someone or an organization that will investigate these types of intrusions?

Caller asked if a certain board member was still with our company...he said that FedEx was shipping something to him from a company. No tracking # was given and when I asked "why did you call?" as Fedex usually does not call in advance of shipping, he said "this is a new policy to ensure that addresses of recipients are correct- you can look it up on our website." I believe this is a scam call. I have not heard of FedEx doing this.

Got a call from a heavy accented guy from 213-285-0943# listed California sounded like he was calling from a call center wanting to set up an appointment with our office and asked who the dentist was and for our e-mail address. After asking several times what type of appointment he needed to make he hung up on me. I called the number back and it went straight to voicemail but I advised on the voicemail not to call our office back. I will be reporting this number.

Got the same call this morning- Heavy Middle Eastern Accent -Said he was from Fedex, wanted to confirm a package delivery and wanted to check my address. He knew my husband's name. I asked what address he had on file and he gave me a Miami address (I never lived in Miami) Wouldn't give him any information so he hung up. I called Fedex at 1.800.463.3339 to report it. They weren't aware of phone calls (only emails) claiming to be from Fedex and they immediately sent it over to their fraud department. I think anyone who gets these calls should report it to UPS and Fedex right away (as well as the FTC) and hopefully they can put a stop to it. Especially now during the holidays when people might confuse these scam calls for actual holiday package deliveries.

This number has called the front desk four times. Twice they hung up when I answered and the other two times a woman with a strong Indian voice asked for an employee who is no longer with the company. She stated she was calling from a hospital concerning medical records and proceedures. These people are trying to get as much information as they can. DON'T LET THEM. Tell them you will report them immediately to authorities and they will stop calling.
