It's a legit call - but I can't understand why they keep calling back. I was in a meeting and could not WOULD NOT answer at that time. They called back 4 times in a row then finally left a freekin' message.

This number rings up to 15 times a week I'm getting sick of it. I have caller id so don't answer it if I'm in but tired of coming home from work and finding missed calls from them. They need to sort they're lives out if they think this is a career choice. And telephone preferences need to grow some teeth they are more than useless.

Ryan Zeigler, USAA. He is with the Call Center. My son was rear-ended while sitting on the interstate by USAA's insured. They damaged the rear bumper on my 2009 Honda Accord. Ryan with USAA called to tell me my car is a total loss and would not be repaired. They said they have filed paperwork on the VIN with the State that my car will be titled as a Salvaged Vehicle. They advised they are in a partnership with Co-Part, a salvage company. Mr. Zeigler was a bully and yelled during the conversation and told me, "tough luck, you can't change it". He said that they made us an offer, we declined it and everything was mute from that point - no rental car, no negotiating. I asked him if he was an adjuster with USAA and he said he was a claim manager over the Call Center but he had authority to settle my claim. I've been dealing with them for months now and this is the only number I can get for a live person and they are all rude and lie as they go.

Legitimate USAA. But for those reporting a complaint, be aware that most all major financial businesses have fraudsters out their pretending to be them via spoofing/porting. If ever in doubt, call the company they are pretending to be yourself.

Caller wanted information from my USAA Credit Card including the verification numbers on the back of the card. I called USAA on their 800 number and they didn't know of any problems after checking my accounts. I believe someone is using this number to obtain information which they could use to fraudulently obtain merchandise.

I can absolutely confirm that both 1-210-531-USAA (8722) and 1-800-531-USAA (8722) are legitimate USAA numbers and are identified on the company's web site. I am a USAA customer and have received legitimate calls from these numbers concerning my USAA insurance and banking accounts, most recently about an open insurance claim file. (Note: this form needs another option in the "Caller Type" list: "Legitimate.")

OMG - this man identified himself as Zack with USAA - i was sitting at my desk, on lunch, he refused to leave a message - instead he kept calling back and calling back - letting the phone ring at least 50 times each time - i finally picked up, but how unprofessional!
