This clown who could barley speak English told me that the United States Government selected me to get a gift of $9000 because I was a good citizen. I don't have to pay it back but I can't spend it on drugs, gambling or prostitution.

I played with him for a few minutes and then told him I knew it was a scam, he called me a "very stupid man" and then started with the insults about I could go F**k myself.

I told him to go back and find the camel he had parked and left and hung up

The caller was male with a heavy foreign accent. He tried to tell me something about my computer. He was speaking fast and I couldn't understand him. I asked him who he wanted to speak with and he just kept on talking trying to make me believe the urgency of his call. So I just hung up. The bugger had the audicity to call back again. He kept calling me "madam" and again I asked him who he wanted to speak with. He replied my computer purchase shows my telephone number and that there is something wrong with my computer. I again asked him who he wanted to speak with and he got argumentative and I got angry. I told him to not call again and that I will report his telephone number for harassment and I hung up. Yes Stone Duncan said it all...go get those A$$H@#E$!!!!!

I get a call at least once a week from this phone number (210) 526-6628. It's always the same exact woman with an Asian/Indian accent asking if I want a discount on my South Jersey Gas bill. She wants me to verify all types of private information over the phone, which obviously I never do. I've asked her to add me to the DO NOT CALL list which never happens and she always says "Ma'am this is the first time I'm calling you" (which to my recollection is not accurate). I'm so annoyed at these stupid phone calls and people who try to steal your identity.

This man with an Indian accent told me there had been security issues reported on my computer. To which I responded, "What?" So he repeated himself. Then I proceeded to tell him that I don't own a computer. He then said loudly, "Why the h**l are you wasting my time!" and hung up on me. I was confused. Then angry. Now I'm ready to hop on a plane to India to find this guy and teach him some manners..... With my fists.

Everybody knows "Do Not Call" does NOT Work. Try "No More Robot Calls" @ WWW.nomorobo.com. It's a no fee service (for VoiP land lines), eliminated 95 % of my Spam. Check the site . . . it explains how it works and it costs nothing (for land lines) ! [And No, I don't have stock in the company, but I wish I did!]

I got a robot call from this number about home security. Automatic voice (a woman who calls herself Judy) wouldn't shut up... yak yak yak... I tried to call the number back. First, I heard a kind of fax machine loud screech. Called back again and I got a message that stated: you have reached a non-working number - pls try again'. How do these people get away with this??? I get at least 5/6 scam and/or telemarketer calls (from different numbers) a week. I'm older and have health issues. How do we stop these people from bombarding us with never ending phone calls????

Sounded Indian kept calling asking to speak with Kathleen Haskins-Benn, my significant other, who had already politely instructed the caller to "please add to Do Not Call" list and don't call again. He called around 6 more times between then and 7 PM. because I had 7 messages fromm same number, but there were no voice messages on the phone when I returned home at 7 PM just all hang ups. I deleted these.

April 11, 2015 - my 82 year old mother was the apparent target of the scammer who told her she had computer problems. Mom has been made aware that unsolicited calls should be terminated without explanation. Mom told the caller that she was hanging up despite the caller's objections. I called the number back and the recording indicated the number (210-526-6628) was not in service.

Final score... Mom 1, scammer 0

I got a call from these SCAM guys this morning.
1st Caller ID:
UNKNOWN NAME
929-555-0175

It started out with a guy speaking bad English (sounded like he was from India).
He is telling me my computer was sending errors to their server.

Then after a few steps he has me type into the computer, he say's that he needs to transfer me to someone else - he starts to transfer me to someone else and I hung up.

I get a call back from these guys. The same noise is in the background.
This time Call D shows:
TEXAS
210-526-6628

I ask him where he is located and he tells me New York.
Then why does the caller ID show Texas I ask.

Our server is located someplace else he says. Our server called you.
After making like I am following his directions:
I enter on the left side the Microsoft Windows key and R
a Command Window opens and now he tells me to type in: eventvwr

Well at this point I know he is trying to do something to my PC or get my credit card information..

I make like I am following his instructions again but it gets to the point that I suspect he knows that 1- I ma an Idiot or 2 - leading him along. But No, he thinks I am not doing something correctly.

I decide to end the call and tell him I am not buying into his Scam.
He continues to talk to try to convince me I need to do this.
I told him I was wasting his time but he try's to threaten me that, I am very foolish and sort of indicates he will do something to my computer.

I hung up and did a Google Search for - eventvwr and came up with articles on the Scam.

SO BEWHERE OF THESE PHONE CALLS - IT"S A SCAM!

Heavy accent...calls over and over. While I was talking to him he asked me to open my computer saying he was from Microsoft and he wanted to fix my computer. I asked him for a call back number and while I had him on the phone, I called and it was a bogus number. I told him he was a scammer and don't call again. He called me a few days later and said "I'm from the scam company and I want my money". After a few choice words that I can't repeat, I said stop calling and what do you want...he said I want $6,000 and I will call you over and over again. He called me by name and said....I want my 6,000.00 ______ and I'll keep calling you day after day after day. I cursed him out then blocked the number. Idiots!!! How about get a job and stop trying to steal people's money?
