Got a call from this number 210-198-3357 and the person was speaking spainsh.
When I ask for someone that spoke english they hung up on me. Do not know where is person found my cellphone number, it is on the do not call list.
Received call from this number at lunch time and shows up as from Texas. I declined the call and no message was left. I don't know anyone from Texas so guessed it was a scam.
Do yourself a favor: buy a Digitone Call Blocker, and stop all, I mean, ALL annoying calls! The cost may keep you from buying it, but believe me: It`s worth every penny of it to be able to block any number, letters, names, you name it; it can do it! I have been using it for almost 3 years now and I have not regretted it yet. Don`t take my word for it, check it out. (I am not related to this company in any way; I am just somebody that was in your shoes receiving annoying calls until I decided to put a stop to it with this cleverly designed device).

Continue to get calls from this # several times each week. Occasionally someone will start to speak spanish, but when I reply in english they hang up. Often there is no one on the line at all. Very annoying. Who can we report this to ?
This person called my mother who is 85 years old yesterday afternoon October 22, 2013. He had her believing that this was a cost benefits savings for her. He also stressed how outstanding credit is. This was a spanish speaking person (yound male) which my mother only speaks spanish and thought she could trust the caller!! Unfortunately, this is all a SCAM!!! She brougth this to my attention and I'm very upset with the CALLER!!! How dare you can take advantage of innocent people!! Do what you need to do to STOP this from happening again.
DO NOT PICK UP!!! Why would anyone answer an unknown long distance number??? NEVER engage them in conversation OR ask to be "removed"! That will put you on a list of "good numbers" And NEVER call back! If you do, you are "doomed" to repeated calls. VOIP (voice over internet protocol) internet phone service allows scammers all over the world to call us using a "spoofed" (fake) caller I.D.s If you block one number they will just "spoof" another one. Many are in a foreign country. Just ignore them!!! And don't use your name on answering machine or voicemail. Just use your phone number. Expensive call-blockers will not stop them (new "spoofed" numbers). Reporting them to the gov't. will not stop them (foreign soil). And asking them to be removed only makes it WORSE. It's an epidemic.

Same thing...Spanish speaking telemarketer wanting to sell some type of cheap cell phone service. SCUM BAGS call here 6 to 7 times a month. I happen to speak spanish so I was able to understand the call. I have told them stop calling...I am on the gov't no call list (what a joke)...have unlisted number...even have AT&T trace set up on our phone (*57)....this has been going on for at least 5 months.......and NOTHING gets done to stop it. All the people who keep saying "get on gov't list for no calls" have wayyyyy to much faith in them... ... We even change our phone number about once a year and within 4 months it all starts over again.
"Hello is that Mrs James?"
"Does it sound like I am Mrs James?"
"Oh sorry, are you Mr James?"
"No I'm Mr Smart."
"Whats that you're a bloody fu***r?"
[indian sounding caller puts phone down before I can answer]
Unfortunately, that 'call blocker' device doesn't work on randomly generated 'false caller id numbers' which is what they are now using to get around those blockers....they "fool" the caller ID to see a different phone number (which is why you get "this number is not in service" when you try to call the number back).. By the way, if you want to block a number, why pay $100 for this thing when you can simple call the phone company and request it block for free?
