One operator, when told they were in violation of the DO Not Call, asked how much I paid for the service and argued that nothing came for free. Funny they never let you have their manager...

Card member services....Recording Said there is nothing wrong with my credi cards...duh...because I don't use them..... and they could lower my interest to 6%.... I have no balance!!! AIR HORN next time I get this call!!!! See how they like it when a real person gets on the phone!

These people call all the time. Always the same thing - there is nothing wrong with my credit card but they want to offer me a lower rate and it's my final notice to take advantage. I always hit 1 to get a person, always ask to be taken off the list, and always get hung up on. No "yes I'll take you off the list" or "okay, bye" just hung up on. And then they call back anyway. Isn't there somehow to protect against phone harassment? I thought a company had to stop calling you if you requested it? Or at least request all further communication be through the mail?
I waited to see how they got my #.. When the guy came on I asked to be removed(for the 5th time).. He told me no!! He said do you want me to lie to you and tell you we won't call again..then hung up..
I get these all the time & am sick of it.. ady to do whatever it takes to get rid of these people.

Normally, I try to be understanding of the invididuals who call for these companies. Everyone's got to work, right? But, some of the creeps who work for "Cardholder Services" are really, really terrible. One woman wanted to argue with me, call me names, and seemed to enjoy that I was getting upset. Seriously, terrible people who would do this day after day and call it "earning a living."
They have been calling me for months and I have the same story as everyone else. Recently I just jack with them to waste their time or to make them have a bad day. This morning when they called I pressed 1 and when the guy came on the phone I screamed as loud as I could into the phone. At 8am that's a great wake up call for you. I would recommend telling those around you what your going to do otherwise it may scrare them. A coaches whistle works well as soon as they pick up. I also wait till they pick up and ask for Judy Jenkins. When they say we don't have a Judy Jenkins here I go off on him and tell him I know what he did to her and that im coming after him. Another fun one is to start ordering pizza, keep talking and don't give them a chance to interrupt you. I usually don't have time to mess with them but these are just a couple creative things to do plus you get a good laugh out of it. You can request to be taken off but like many of you they just hang up on you. I really truly hate these people.
Called. Left no message. Google search of this number brought ne to this page. Have answered similar calls to hear recorded message about lowering interest rates on credit debt, despite having registered my cel number with national Do Not Call registry. Have reported this number similarly.
