Claimed they were with the "Internal Revenue Services", and they filed a suit against me. That's not how the IRS works. Clearly a lie.

Claims to be IRS. NOT the IRS. IRS does not work like that. No legit institution does.

IRS Robo caller SCAM! Reporting it to the IRS.
Let the machine pick it up and it left this message:
"This is officer from Internal Revenue Services. We have been trying to reach you. This call is an official final notice call from Internal Revenue Services. The reason of the call is to inform you that we have filed a lawsuit against you. For more information call immediately our department number 209-200-4638. I repeat 209-200-4638."

Automated message with a voice with a slight foreign accent. Said he was an officer of the internal revenue service and had initiated a law suite against me and to call this number. Warning it is a HOAX ! They want your personal information and to send them money. They need to go to jail or better yet be executed. Do not call them back.

Robo call, no caller ID name or number. Advises is IRS. Unable to contact me. I'm home all day, every day. Is filing lawsuit against me. All my taxes filed and paid in advance for years and years. Must call back this number.
OLD, OLD OLD SCAM!! Love to s***w with these vermin.
Retired, don't sleep much, up all hours. Have called this guy back 50 or 60 times so far, all hours of day and night. I *67 block my number before calling just to keep him from blocking me. When he answers I ask "Just how large a Walmart Green Dot card do you want me to get for you?" Lots of cursing and hangup from him. Or, "Bet you wish you'd skipped over my number. huh?" Best at keeping him online is getting him to argue by telling him I enjoy tying up his service to keep him from scamming someone else. This will keep me entertained until another fool ventures into my service,
DON'T GET MAD. GET EVEN or GET AHEAD AND GET THE UPPER HAND ON THIS TRASH!

Don't worry about this scammer from Stockton, CA. Uses a robo caller to claim the IRS is preparing to sue... That isn't how they work. They file suit first, then serve you with papers. They don't call you. And when you do speak with them, they do not block their caller ID. Total bogus scam to get your ID and personal information. Just ignore and go about your life!

Call this morning saying this is "Officer from internal revenue service... blah blah blah." How can they get away with claiming to be the real IRS who would never call me?

Called and left a voicemail identifying himself as officer from the Internal Revenue Service stating they had been trying to contact me and this was the last time they would contact me, so I needed to call them because they were filing a lawsuit against me. I called them back and asked them what type of scam were they running and the male who answered quickly hung up.
