User Complaints for (208) 262-0000

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

They have called 7 times since 4 pm today - re: a breach in security and not to use any Apple device until you contact advisor / support. I never answer a call that I don't know the number. The first call I cancelled.... and let it go to voicemail, listened to it, blocked it and deleted it...... so being blocked it goes to voicemail each time w/out ringing.....they leave a recorded message that my account was breached and I have to contact them before I can use my device blah blah blah blah.....or call them at their toll free number of 208-262-0000 (which isn't toll free......idiots !!!!)..... this is the same message that I've gotten nearly 80 times times over the past 5 months. I do not call or contact them so unable to tell them to not call me and place me on do not call list. I don't want them to know it's a valid working number. Plus not that it matters to them - I have Android not Apple products. So it's just wasting everyones time. It is an utter shame that these types of people have nothing better to do with their time let alone lives than to make these BS calls. All I can say is "GET A LIFE - LOSER!!!!!!"

I have received 28 phone calls from the following telephone number, 208-262-0000 in the past two weeks, telling me that my "Apple Account has been breached", and that I'm suppose to call that telephone number to speak to support staff.

I DO NOT own or have any Apple device, cellphone, tablet, or computer, so I DO NOT WANT ANY OF THESE CALLS AGAIN!

Caller name: Anonymous RoboCaller

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

Any calls related to telephone number 208-262-0000 are "RoboCalls" and identified as a Scam.

Each time the RoboCall comes in, it displays a different telephone number as their Caller ID, however,, the calls aren't actually coming from those telephone numbers. They're FAKE CALLER ID's, because the telephone numbers shown are being "Spoofed" as a disguise to hide the true identity of the caller.

Some of the Fake Caller ID's associated with this RoboCaller are: (781) 471-3800, (480) 636-3900, (330) 213-0933, (919) 334-3400, (410) 427-0360.

Sometimes the RoboCall hangs up before a voicemail begins. But most of these RoboCalls leave a voicemail stating... (START TRANSCRIPT) "To listen to this message again or if you wish to contact us later please call us on our toll-free number 208-262-0000 thank you" (END TRANSCRIPT) -

WARNING:
Do Not Return the call! Any response from you will automatically intensify the problem by generating additional Auto-Repeated calls to your telephone.

* You can help the FBI and the Federal Trade Commission, in their current investigation to discover the identification of the RoboCaller and to bring legal action against them. Just go to "FBI.gov or FTC.gov" and submit your complaint on their websites and provide as much information as possible.

** If your telephone number is registered on the "Do Not Call Registry", you can also submit a complaint at DONOTCALL.gov.

They have called at least 15 times today. The message they leave says this is Siri from Apple support and I have been compromised, so I should call them back at 208-262-0000. The number that shows on caller ID is 410-423-1801. I won't be calling back.

208-262-0000 is the call back number. These clowns call multiple times during the day. The last time they called I'd picked up the phone and selected '1' to talk to someone. Told them to quit calling and they hung up on me. Don't know who's behind this, but I'm getting very angry. I'm trying to work from home and keep getting interrupted with this nonsense... and we don't own any Apple products.

Apple support call giving this phone number as the support number. Two different times today. My phone logs recorded the phone number used to give this as the following.

813-393-4720
413-493-3878

Both appeared on the phone as Apple Inc. and then gave a message stating my iCloud account had been breached like many of the other scams.

When they call the number on the caller ID is different almost every time. This time I waited thru the options which were: Talk to someone, Hear Message again, And a number to call back: 208-262-0000; this number never shows on the caller ID AND there was not an option to be taken off the list. FYI the automated message was regarding a breached Apple I Cloud account, which I, no one else in this household does not have AND never has had.

We received about 7 calls within 2 hours from 4 different area codes. The robo call said it was apple support calling about a breach of our iCloud. We were instructed to call 208-262-0000 ( not the number on caller id.)
I knew it was a scam, when you call the number from caller ID the robo operator says the number could not be reached as dialed.
I called 208 2620000 several times to tell them to remove my number. They would hang up when I mentioned scam.
I blocked every call but they just use a new number, sooooo annoying!!
Would love Apple to go use some of their resources to shut down this number.

Frequent calls from number today, Feb 16. Pressed1 to talk with rep x2. First one answered with "how may I help you" and I replied " you called me" and then he said "oops". Within minutes I received another call and when pressed1 to talk with Apple rep the gentleman with an Asian accent said he was with Apple Support and I blew a whistle loudly into phone and hung up. Received another call on my message this time I left unanswered and filed a complaint with FTC.org. All ready have my phones on Do Not Call List. Well wait to see if I hear via mail from FTC.
