Caller name: Microsoft Security Tech
A male with a hindi accent called claiming he was part of the microsoft security technicians team and that allegedly my computer had reported several errors recently and this was a courtesy call. The male then attempted to support his claim with "Proof" by having me access my system error log(a small note to those not tech savvy, this thing ALWAYS has errors. Any software that works with tons of other software is going to log some problems, this is NORMAL.) and then proceeded to tell me that these were malicious attacks upon my computer. After this I was instructed to give him my IP and password to my teamviewer account. At this point I stopped playing along, told them not to call back and hung up.
Ladies and gentlemen, Microsoft will NEVER call you without you instigating it first. NEVER EVER agree to do anything with your computer unless you trust the person on the other end of the phone with your kidneys or other valuables.
"They" keep calling me around 8am, I am asleep then because I work nights, however, it only rings once, and then I get a slew of other numbers calling me one after another (about 6 phone numbers) this one listed 206-777-1016 is the only one in seattle, the other callers are from Illinois. I don't get a chance to answer because they hang up after the first ring. And I try to call back and it's disconnected.
Caller name: Alex
Said his name was Alex and he was with Windows. Told me my computer was sending signals that it had a virus. I told him my husband is in the IT field he then got rude. Told me to turn on my computer and he would show me I told him I was absolutely not going to allow him access to my computer he said "oh really well f**k you" I then hung up.
Reported they were from VErizon and had me log into an e mail which then directed me to my verizon account...it was my account set up by me and all looked fine. turned out it was a scam and since i logged into my account they have my account info. GRRRR.
Probably from Jamaica Man! No accents anymore. We're being bombarded with insane foreigners now and no one in this country is able to stop them. I now shut my phone down several times a day and keep my house and life as secret as possible. Sad isn't it?
This number call me at 6am!! I was very mad because I happen to have been asleep as well as my 3 children were sleeping. By the time I got to the phone to answer it, they had just hung up. GRRR I tried calling it back and it just has a weird busy signal.
Caller name: Not sure
They call and they call and they do not know how to pronounce my name. Diane is not that hard.....but the keep s******g it up. They call me diannyell and donna. Each different caller has and accent and can't spell or speak correctly. Very super annoying. So if you can't pronounce a simple name how are you supposed to sell me something, that I do not want in the first place!!! ???? I have had enough of their super annoying calls and I am on the do not call list as well!! I have had it!
This number called my home phone and asked for my mom. They told me they were a computer company and have been following the internet on our computer for a few months and noticed that we were apparently downloading things that were questionable. I think he had a Spanish accent.
I'm glad I did a search of this number. I got a call from a computerized voice claiming to be from some kind of namtioanl bank saying my visa debit card has been temporarily suspended. Press 1 to speak to a representative. I hung up because they were not my bank.
Caller name: mark
A man called said he was from the chamber of Congress and said he has been addressed to issue an arrest warrant for me If I didn't respond to the call. Said the local police department would pick me up rather I was at home or work. The were yelling and threatening me told me I had to pay money. Ever science the call my cell phone has not been working correctly.
Caller name: would not give
I received a call from this number and was very unhappy with this person, who said I committed a crime, he was so stupid he call from washington and stated he would be at my house tomorrow, I said come and your be the one arrested for committing pranks that are not funny, broken english nut.
Caller name: Microsoft
Received a call from a possibly East Indian speaking man. Said he was calling from Microsoft and their system says I am having trouble with my computer. It keeps downloading malicious content. Before he could go any further I told him he was "full of bologna" and that "I want you to stop calling me". This was the second time I actually answered for this type of call and both times the caller said they were from Microsoft.
I have never given them any personal information.
Called my home number and knew my first name. Claimed they needed to help fix my Windows system from an infection. I told them I have Norton and don't need any help and hung up. They tried to call back right away but I just quickly hung up.
Caller name: didn't give one
Called wanting information about our company. When I asked who they were he first said he was with the Chamber of Commerce. When I asked which Chamber of Commerce he said the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. At that point I called him a liar and said I knew he was lying because the number was not a Georgia area code. He then said he would call back later and I replied "No, you won't" and hung up.
I got a phone call from this place this morning! It sounded like a bill collector as there sounded to be a lot of people doing the same thing in the back ground. When I told him it was me talking, he said "Will you suck my d**k?" I was blown away that I couldn't even respond. He then said "Please just once?" I then hung up and he called right back at a different number 210-249-0540. I didn't say anything as I answered and he proceeded to scream my name and "Suck it, suck it, suck it!" What is wrong with these people! I am just glad it was me that answered and not my children!
Caller name: Anonymous
Keeps calling both my landline and cell to tell me about Elder Medical services. When I push to #2 remove my name someone picked up and kept trying to get information about me including my SS number. I have reported them to the do not call folks, both Feds and state since my name is on the list.
it may have been robo dialing. you see, in the 21 cent we have no identity; it's a good thing we have friends.
i pick up on these calls but tell them to leave message while using a w c fields imitation or perhaps cary grant.
it's sort of fun to know i can s***w with THEIR heads.
Caller name: Sam Philips
Someone from this number called me saying they were from Microsoft Technical Department, wanting to "help me" with a virus he'd noticed had been downloaded onto my system. He wanted to remote into my computer to help me "remove it". Total BS. I don't know how he got our number but I've called Microsoft to let them know that there is a scammer using their name. He said his name was Sam Philips but had a heavy Indian accent.
The same people call about my credit card history and asking me to open a new account with them. They bounce all over the country and appear to be fraudulent. They abruptly hang up if/when I ask that I be removed from their list. While I'm on the DNC list, these scammers seem to get through no matter what.
Received a call from this number claiming to be Verizon and stating that I had been selected to receive an $85 credit off my next bill. To claim my 'credit', I was directed to go to a web site - mybonus85,com - and log into my account. Sounds like a scam to me to get my Verizon account information. If Verizon was going to give me a credit, they would just do it, no make me jump through some kind of hoops to claim it. Plus, my account is not in my name, it is under my husbands name and phone number.
A few minutes later, my husband received a call from this same number. He did not answer it.
Caller name: unknown
The guy with an Indian accent

looks like an information mining. Recording stated that my debit card was deactivated, to enter my account number in order to reactivate. There were no other menu options to confirm the organization. Attempted to call the number back and it could not be dialed. I am certain this is not a legitimate operation!
Caller name: Sam

Received a call from a foreign woman stating she was calling from Microsoft about fixing my computer problem. I told her that I have a work computer and will check with my IT department on any issues. She tried to cut me off and say that they needed to fix the issue. She then asked if this was my personal phone or business, and I made the mistake of saying they called my personal phone. I again said I would check with my IT and hung up on her. Hoping they didn't get any information by me saying it was my personal phone....
i got call from same number saying they was from windows and was calling about my computer told them it was fine and they didnt speak english and yelled can i speak to someone else that speaks english he was like yes i will speak slower i then said no someone else and hung up
Caller name: Sam
I got a call from their call center claiming to be some computer outfit (didn't catch my name). After confirming my name, he needed to correct an issue with my PC that was effecting my download performance. He asked if I was sitting at my PC. I hung up.
This number called a very private cell ph. number, which belonged to a deceased person, yet relative now pays the bill for me.
Anyway, I have no daytime minutes so I did not answer. I had received a similar call from possibly an male Indian about 2 months ago. I told him I had no PC (mine broke over a year ago.)
Yet, you must tell them to quit calling you and that your on a "Do Not Call" Registry, which I am.
And when I tried to call this ph. number back from another phone, of course, I just got a busy signal. I have a severe sleep disorder, do not work (am too sick,) and hate being bothered and especially woke up.
The best advice I can offer others is to add the number to your Cell Contact List if you can Not Block. Yet, you must add *67-1 (to block) in front of the number (Asterisk 67 - is a free block in the U.S.) I am not sure what it is in other countries and location. And Change the Ring Tone to "No Ring."
I had done this on another Scam call about Verizon that occurred over a month ago. (No more calls from the ph. number either luckily.) I had texting Blocked.
Remember, most the calls you usually receive on a cell ph., are just annoying texts.
I have only received 2 legitimate wrong number calls on cell. (And one was trying to reach the deceased person not sure of the number of another person related to them.)
And the ph. number is and has been Registered with the National Do Not Call list for over 30 days, (which is another requirement of the D.N.C. Registry.)
Remember, to Change the Ringtone to "No Ring" so you are Not Disturbed and put some kind of Scam Description in for the Caller's Name so you will know who the caller is should they call back.
