I hung up on them -- Clearly a spammer, robo-calling cell phone numbers. Best thing would have been not to answer...
On the DNC list - clearly it is utterly useless (has no teeth nor budget for enforcement). I'm firmly convinced that some of these callers actually use the DNC list as their call list.
This number called me today. No message was left. I firmly believe that the collective peace of mind in the United States would be better without these companies. They are a horrible nuisance for the average person and I agree that callers such as this one do not take the Do Not Call registry seriously. It is a sad comment on American society that the government allows this to continue.

Caller name: Unknown - 200 206 3579
Finally googled 200 206 3579 as I have received multiple calls from this number over the last week. I used to live in Seattle and have multiple friends but there so was actually curious. Appears the caller is neither a friend nor anyone I want to speak with. When I have answered, there is no on on the other end of the line and no voice mail has been left.
In response to the comment made by, "Big BA" above: whether or not there is a financial cost is not the only issue. As American's we have a right to expect that our privacy is respected and that our rights are not infringed upon by others who are breaking the law by calling outside of normal business hours as some have reported here (6:45 am).
This is particularly true when, as many us have, gone through the steps of adding our numbers to a national Do Not Call database for the express purpose of putting businesses on notice that we are not interested in unsolicited business calls - at any time.
Further, we all have the inherent right to express our feelings and to share them with others in a forum expressly designed in part to do just that along with passing along hopefully helpful information to other readers.
It always amazes me, Mr. Big BA, that inevitably there always seems to be at least one self-appointed "enlightened" one, to put the rest of us in our place. It isn't too far of a leap to imagine that you are also the one who finds it necessary to make fun of people commenting on a gossip site for wasting their time with such trivial matters; when of course you, and people like you, are engaged in the precise behavior you are mocking.
By simply making fun of others you do not remove yourself from the group you mock; instead you point out your need to pick unnecessary fights and attemtp to get attention Mr. Big BA. (I will forego the opportunity to address your chosen screen name, as it is just too easy.)
You, Mr. BIg BA, do not proscribe the rules here sir. Nor, to my knowledge have you been granted any special powers or authority to determine or limit what constitutes an appropriate reaction after receiving harrasing calls in a forum designed in part to share precisely that information.
Rock on and thank you to my fellow to my fellow American neighbors who take the time to share the information they have and to commiserate with others about this increasingly common annoyance. Not the end of the world by any stretch - but, if we were all to quietly accept these annoyances they not only won't go away, they will grow.
Best not to answer calls not on your contact list.
I.e. If no name is associated with the calling number then you don't know them so don't answer.
Let them leave a voice mail. If it's someone you know them you can call them.
Caller name: "Free Cruise" SCAM

No vm - no idea.
Thank you to JCH for your eloquent and wonderful words.
We all need to stand up to the likes of Big BA (big badass - what an idiot) and people like him.
You nailed it - thanks again.
Caller name: NAMBLA REP
Wanted to know if I'd like a free subscription to the monthly NAMBLA newsletter. I'm not close to retirement age & am not associated with any political group and had no idea who they were & didn't care to hear the sales pitch so I declined. But then I was curious after hanging up because I'm on the do not call list so I Google'd NAMBLA... GROSS! WHAT THE h**l? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? IS THIS LEGAL?
My daughter received a call from 206-200-3579 @ 11:00pm and she mistakenly answered and then pressed a number (indicated on the recorded message) to be removed from their calling list. After doing so, the computer kept calling back repeatedly (every minute) until she finally had to turn the phone off! How can you block calls on a cell phone?
Caller name: AIRTOUCH COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
I received a call from this number approximately 5 minutes ago. I'm a California resident, and I don't understand why I would be receiving a call from the Pacific Northwest as I don't know anyone that resides in that region. I truly wish there were a way to block unwanted and unsolicited calls once and for all.
Afternoon All -
I use avast (free) on my cell phone. What is nice about it includes: create groups, dates, times not to accept calls. You have the option to have call go directly to vm or have phone hang up. the app will even allow you to send txt message reason why you're ignoring an incoming call (i'm driving, etc.)
the call will still show up in your call log, but not come thru.
has called several times but i never answer right after their last attempt they called my brother in a different city. he answered and a women with an accent asked for me by name! coincidence? I don"t think so. he hung up on them buthow did they pull that off. I had just hung up from calling him when they called him
Caller name: unidentified
I''ve read that this is a "free vacation" or seas cruise telemarketer that make their money by charging the caller ID network for number of calls generated. I am on all DO NOT CALL LISTS . 206-200-3579 calls me early mornings and leaves no messages.
I've been getting calls from this number and 815-687-8555, 612-808-8277, 714-364-0185 all day today. What gives? Anyone want to get back at these guys?? Here's an idea go to insureme.com, underground elephant.com, netquote.com, and allwebleads.com or any other insurance site that offers multiple calls from multiple insurance agents. Use any of the numbers that are harassing you, fill in all the other blanks, and let them get a taste of their own medicine. Each of those insurance sites will sell the phone number to 5-15 different insurance companies and these insurance agents will each call the number at least once depending on what happens the other end. They may try another 5 to 20 more times before giving up.
Have now removed my landline. This scum have been calling me for the last 2 months 24/7. No help from anyone who is supposed to help. Perhaps if more of us get rid of our landline the phone companies will do something. You can live without a landline.
This number called my cell phone 27 times before I turned the phone off and then had to go to phone company and blocked the number.
I just received a call from 206-200-3579...on my cell phone.. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize... when I googled it; i found out it is a robo call center... am on the DNC registry; why do I keep getting these calls..??
Caller name: wireless caller
Did not answer since it was an unknown number. Called repeatedly once per minute. After about 10 hang ups answered the phone "congratulations you've won a trip ton he Bahamas" pre-recorded. Hung up. Continued calling once per minute until I took the phone off the hook.
Caller name: won bahama cruise (?)
Robocall called 14 times in a row. At one point the message said to press 9 to be taken off call list. That did not work. We put the # on our "block list" but that did not work either; the next call came in as "01-206-200-3579." Then it came again and continued. Really, what do you do? Even if you listen to the whole dumb thing you apparently are supposed to take their survey or whatever? Well, I guess if that's the only way to stop the assault then they are the geniuses here. Hmm.. kind of like making me type in a verification code on this web page where it was really just another advertisement to be able to post this message. At least it was my choice to do it.
