Its hard to imagine that these scammers can actually find fresh victims -- but apparently, there's a few idiots still out there ...

called 3 times today, when I answered he (with broken english) said that my computer was sending error messages and if I didn't let them fix it then the FBI would lock my computer. I told him I did not believe a word he said and that my computer was fine. He tried again to intimidate me with the FBI will shut down my computer (I have done nothing illegal). I specifically asked him who he works for and he said Windows service center. I told him I did not believe a word he was saying and hung up

Caller name: Max Desouza

Called from 205-280-0212. Said he's from

Help Support for Windows Computer.

He said he's calling from 302-261-9242

I said I'm on the National Do Not Call List and I would make a complaint but the government is shut down and I cannot file a complaint right now. (I tried yesterday and it was shut down. There was a call from the same number in Alabama.)

The man said, with an Indian accent, I believe, "But you're not on the International Call List." He then proceeded to tell me that it would cost a lot of money to be on "that" list. I kept saying. I want to be off your list. Take me off your list. He finally mumbled something like ok, and then the call ended. I'm not sure I believe this guy.

Too many of these calls! Unnecessary. This guy should find a better job.

Call from 205-280-0212 twice today.

Man with foreign accent called saying Windows on my computer had a problem and he needed to get some information from me to fix it. I told him I wasn't interested. I hung up and he called back again and told me I didn't understand and that he was going to get his supervisor to talk to me. I held and no one came to the phone.

I saw this number on my elderly mother's caller id and started investigating. She doesn't remember talking to anyone, which is scary, but on the other hand if it was the same guy he would have found out that she doesn't have a computer......

Claimed that he was calling from the Windows Operating Technical Department. Said I had all sorts of viruses on my computer. He even gave me this number 732-579-6288 to verify who he was. Shysters.

A caller from this number called at approximately 11pm EST insisting that he was from the Windows Service Center and that our home computer had issues. He was incredibly belligerent to the point of intimidation. I asked him directly if he worked for Microsoft, and he answered "yes". Please be aware that Microsoft will NEVER call you directly to resolve computer issues and anyone who claims that they work for Microsoft and are calling you to fix your computer are making fraudulent claims. I am an IT professional, so I was aware that this was a fraud - I just hope others do not fall for this.

Caller calls on 205-280-0212 last night at 10:30pm, says he is from the FBI, and has important message. He has a foreign accent probably from India. The same person calls me quite often from different numbers, and says he is working for Windows, and that there is probably a problem with my computer and wants me to turn it on. Of course, I hang up. But I am getting tired of these calls from these people. There are other numbers that he uses, some have NJ area codes, and Los Vegas, area codes, but from the same person. I am going to go further with this. They should be stopped.

Caller name: Can't understand them!

I've been getting repeated phone calls from this phone number. Broken English is really bad. At first they were calling and hanging up when I answered. Now they are belligerent phone calls telling me my computer is compromised and that they know who I am. Its calls to a deceased persons phone. I told them they are full of BS and they hang up. The next time they called I answered and said I was calling the police and they hung up. This is unnecessary and should be stopped!

Caller name: Windows Support

The last 2 days I have received calls about my computer sending error messages. Yesterday, in broken English, the caller said he is calling from Windows Support and said to turn on my computer and he would help fix the problem. I hung up, and he immediately called back and asked why I hung up on him. I told him I didn't want to turn on my computer and hung up again. Today he called again and repeated that he is calling from Windows and my computer has a virus. I told him not to bother me and hung up. I blocked the number, 205-280-0212.

Caller name: "Microsoft technical support"

Call from man with a heavy Indian accent claiming that he was from "Microsoft Technical Support". Microsoft does not provide this service EVER. I have tried to "explain" to then that I know exactly what they are doing to no avail.

Found that the easiest way to get rid of them is to tell them you don't have a computer, they don't don't know how to handle that and give up!

A man with thick foreign accent that is hard to understand keeps calling saying we have a problem with a computer. As we have no computer it can't be true. He won't take "no" for an answer. This nuisance needs to stop. Our phone is on the national do-not-call register.

Caller name: Unknown, repeatedly hangs up on us

People from this d**n phone number keep calling us early in the morning then there's no one there. After repeatedly saying "hello" over & over - they just hang up on us.

The worst thing that makes me want to PUNISH these callers is that WE ARE ON A NIGHT SCHEDULE so we've just got in after a long night and got to bed only to be woken up 2hrs later by these jerks. It's like a dayshift person getting a hang-up call at 2:30am. It wakes us up, gets us mad & blood pressure skyrocketing and then it's hard to go back to sleep right away. Our ISP lets us only block 12 numbers so blocking is no longer an option. Besides WE ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST and what a joke, we're constantly called at all hours day & night. I wish I could hook up a TAZER into the phone line to send a message of my own to the caller

Caller name: not given

Total fraud. I'm guessing the number cannot be traced by police to its source or it would have been done already? Likely whatever real location they are calling from bounces its number to the 205-280-0212, maybe like google voice, to make harder to catch these guys.

Would LOVE to see them arrested one day.
