Left messages on my phone to call right way , that I am being sued by the IRS. Upon calling the number someone with a Pakistani sounding voice asked who this is. I figured this was a scam as the irs would send certified mail and or an agent to speak to you. Scumbags is all it is trying to rip off someone gullible enough to fall for their bs.

These ppl called me with an automated mssg claiming to be the IRS. when I called back they said a lawsuit was filed against me for money owed from 4 or 5 yrs ago. I told them I would comply ASAP. they then proceeded to read me 3 legal steps. said I had a choice to pay the $5000+ or be arrested within 20 minutes, have my driver's license suspended and have to settle it in court. Or I could pay it on the phone right then and there. I didnt have access to that much $$ and told them I could work it out ASAP within several days and asked how to do so. they said "how much CAN you pay now?" I told them what i could pay right now and they proceeded to read me more steps, one of which was that I agree not to share any of this with a 3rd party. That finally sent up a BIG RED FLAG. I put a halt to the convo - the guy said there would be an officer at my door w/in 20 min to arrest me, and I immediately called a lawyer friend of mine who laffed hysterically when I recounted this incident.

Call constantly at our place of business leaving automated messages. One or two calls no problem, but this is becoming a daily ritual for them. Very annoying when you are busy answering phones for a place of business.

I received a call from Washington DC. As I was in the middle of scooping out my cats' litter boxes, I continued with this more important activity. When I replayed the message, it was a female stating the IRS was initiating a lawsuit against me. I know from experience the IRS NEVER calls you. If they need to contact you for any reason, they do so through the US Postal System. If I receive a call with the same caller ID, I WILL answer the phone, listen to their scam, and tell them to get a real job before I report them to the FBI for phone scamming AND Homeland Security for making terrorist threats over the phone!! Perhaps I should include a statement to the effect their call has been traced and a Federal Agent will be taking them into custody before the end of the day.

My mother who is 90 years old received three calls today stating the same message that she owed the IRS. She was going to call them back but thought she should let me know first. Good thing she did. She is pretty wise for a 90 year old but I hate that people are trying to take advantage of her. I would think by now that the phone company could do something about this number. I tried calling them hoping I could tell them off but it is a funny sounding ring and then just disconnects. I don't know if it is because of me calling from a different phone number that they don't pick up or what. Why are people so mean and how can this be happening. You hear about it so much.

I'm so glad I got the call, because my husband would have called before looking it up! I say we all ban together and sue these idiots for scaring us to death and for harassment! Ugh

Repeated robocalls on same day requested callback about irs lawsuit against me. Knew it was a scam because IRS contacts people by mail, but called back each time to hear what they were telling people to perpetrate the scam. Each time they used my name to look up my address and sound official. Each scammer had a heavy accent and there was lots of noise in the background. Each one claimed to be a federal agent; one called himself David Matthews, badge number 14359 and gave me a case number of BC1926; on a later call another scammer said my case number was DC0928, etc. They threatened to have agents arrest me or to suspend my drivers license or to close my bank accounts, depending on which scammer I was talking to. I kept them on the phone as long as I could to waste their time while I was doing chores. Each one eventually disconnected when they realized I was messing with them.

Same as everyone else. The IRS is filing a lawsuit. How much can I pay today? Get cash and take it to a money gram location AND my debit card so they can arrange payment plan. Could not tell me who the money gram would be made payable to, everything is confidential, don't tell any 3rd party individuals, etc. .Thick Indian accent, noisy background. David told me it was MY fault I didn't receive the letters from the IRS. I am seriously annoyed that this scam has not been shut down.

ON SEPTEMBER 29TH AND SEPTEMBER 30,2015..A SCAMMER CALLED IRS SERVICES. HAVE CALLED ME 5 TIMES IN THE PAST 2 DAYS TO TELL ME IRS HAD FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME WHICH I KNEW WAS A JOKE BECAUSE I DON'T CHEAT ON MY TAXES SO I WASN'T SCARED BUT ANNOYED. I FINALLY CALLED BACK AND ASKED WHAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WAS AND THEY SAID" IT IS NOT COMPANY YOU ARE CALLING IRS SERVICES"(SPEAKING JUST LIKE THAT SORTA BROKEN ENGLISH-CERTAINLY NOT AN AMERICAN SPEAKING PERSON) AND THEN IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTED ME. I TRIED TO CALL BACK 5 TIMES JUST TO SEE HOW FAR THEY WOULD GO WHITH TRYING TO GET INFORMATION FROM ME BUT THE LINE RANG BUSY AND VERIZON SAID THE NUMBER WAS NOT IN SERVICE AT THIS TIME. WOW JUST HOW MANY PEOPLE GIVE OUT THEIR PERSONAL INFO TO THESE KIND OF PEOPLE. IF THEY HADN'T CALLED ME SO MANY TIMES I WOULDN'T HAVE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT CALLING. I KNEW IRS WOULD SEND A CERTIFIED RETURN RECEIPT LETTER IF THEY WANTED SOMETHING.

My friends, the IRS will NEVER EVER call like this!! They don't have to! Please note if you owe them money they will follow these steps: 1 send you an Official Letter notifying you. If you fail to respond usually 3 - 6 months they will the send you another letter notifying you of Garnishment. This letter may be a Registered Letter! Don't think you can hide your bank account they will find it. Once that happens whatever funds (money) that is there will be taken! 2nd they will notify your employer and your wages will be garnished as well. Your employer is only obligated to provide you with your pay stub. So don't fall for this fony message!

When I did call the number back it was so noisy in the background & the woman who answered the phone sounded like she was from India or someplace like that.....I asked what this was regarding & she kept asking for my name (at least 2-3 times) and then when I questioned her about what it was regarding again.......the call was disconnected.
