Robo call asking if I was concerned about Gas Prices above $3. Was I concerned that Iranian Warships were heading to the East Coast to cut off Oil Supplies to the U.S. They must think I am stupid to swallow that one. I hung up b.c I feel that it is all about the Keystone XL pipeline
Caller name: POLLRSRCH13
Same as some of the others that were reported, wanted to know if I was concerned about Iranian Warships, etc., when I did not answer the question a recorded voice said that this was a political call and that they would call back later.
Caller name: unknown Survey
Robo call (202) 769-0477 recorded 24 February 2014 (Public survey call, "Iran war ships headed toward US, threatens to block oil in Persian Gulf")
Caller ID: [unobserved]
'Public survey' robo call while I was on another call so I couldn't answer it. [ Aw, my loss ;-) ]
They did leave a voicemail message, asking if I'm concerned about "Iranian war ships approaching the US"...Iran threatening to block oil in the Persian Gulf..." and a promise (or should I consider it a thread) "...we may call back later."
Go ahead surveyor, make my day.
Actually, I would like to hear from them to see what their agenda is, I'll post it here if they do call back and I can take the call.
Here is a transcript of the voicemail message they left:
[male voice:] "Are you concerned that Iran has sent its war ships towards the U.S. Coast and threatened to cut off oil supplies from the Persian Gulf posing a direct threat to world will supplies. [long pause] This is the public survey call, we may call back later. Thank you."

this person (Idian?) called identifying himself as technician from Telstra.
Their records show harmful information has been downloaded to my computer creating serious problems.
He convinced me to allow him to use team viewer to check my computer.
He managed to show me how many external sources can access my PC, and how compromised my PC was and so on. He was pushing to fix everything on the spot.
Total charge after some naging from my side AUD 280.00
I requested an email confirming this and the conversation fell apart - he hung up after giving the following details
phone 02800 74006
point is he is probably right
however I don't think he is from Telstra Australia
and me paying the money might not have a more secure PC afterall.
Sadly, congress excluded political calls from the do not call list...
