I was sitting at my desk, my phone rang...I did not recognize this number 202-367-9922, I didn't touch my phone and I watched as it answered and then the message started on my speakerphone. Ultimately they somehow forced me to hear a recorded message without touching my phone...then I couldn't disconnect it. I hit the end button and it would not disconnect....so then I hit the talk button and then end to disconnect...
I am appaulled that they have the ability to control my phone!!!
I have gotten this call at least 15 times this past week. I decided to call it back. I first got a disconnect recording. I dialed it again and it just rings. I decided to look it up online and found this site. I do not know what type of call it is. I too have voted. I just hope it isn't a person who is being victimized through misuse of the number.
showed up on id as missed call from Hattie Jackson 202-367-9922. I've gotten this call 3 or 4 times. I did not return the call either time just deleted it. My answering machine is torn up but my id shows up with the missed calls. Thought I'd look the name and phone number up on the internet. I thought it was "fishy" . I normally don't answer calls with #'s I don't recognize.
I got a call from this number and I didn't pick up, but the answering machine played about 5 seconds of silence, then the line went dead. The line was out for a total of 15 minutes. I am relieved to find this page, because i thought it was a telephone hacker that was trying to rob the house. (Alarm runs on telephone line) Now I know it wasn't a hacker of any sort (I think) and I guess there was a glitch in the phone system. Thanks for having this page! :) helped me alot
