The person did the same thing with me. I told them that She was not avalible and the guy said thank you and hung up the phone. The man would call back a day later asking for me again and I repeat the same thing. Very annoying. I'm going to try to figure out how to block this number on my AT&T phone.
Caller name: PD2
I have been called by this number 14 times in less than one month. In one instance they identified themselves as the Sierra Club to the unsuspecting family member who answered my phone.(I have been ignoring these calls). I also have left two messages that in no uncertain terms told them I did not want my number to remain on their call list. They just keep calling.
I may have to buy a phone that will simply block this number. Morons.

They called me at 12:15 PM on Sunday, January 20,2013. I am on Do Not Call list(s). I certainly do not watn some telemarketers calling me on the weekend, particularly Sunday, after working a 50 hour week. I really hate these types of companies.

Calls every day. We have blocked on our phone but it still rings (once). Irritating. Has been happening for months. We never answer the phone anymore unless caller ID shows someone we know. If they REALLY want us, they will leave a message. PDR2 never did (before I blocked them). Still annoying to have the phone ring.
I have a huge BEEF with this company. my cell number is the number that shows up on the caller ID and I get two to three calls a day from people wanting to know why I called them. its getting old...
cant they find a useful way to make money. call centers due nothing to progress our society, in fact they due the oposite.
Caller name: ACLU
Caller calling on behalf of the ACLU - That is what it is, a call center that calls on behalf of non-profits. I had to wait for them to come through once I answered the phone but they responded well when I asked to be put on the do not call list.

Hi - here's a try
I emailed Massachusett's AG office and actually got a phone call reply. They said that if the company is political or Sierra Club (??), it's not illegal. But they said the'd look into it and report it to some other government office (?).
The company is SHARE inc. in Newton, Mass.
I also called the 202 number from a land line and left a message asking how to get off list. I actually got a voice mail back saying to call back with the # I wanted off the list. I did (called from the land line). I'm keeping my fingers crossed but haven't gotten a call on my cell for a WEEK!
I also wrote ot our (NY) AG's office.
One other suggestion that takes two seconds - I wrote to ACLU & Sierra Club and wrote that if they ever want another donation they need to get their robo callers to stop calling daily.

Caller ID displays Washington DC.
I answered the call with my name, and they IMMEDIATELY hung up without saying anything.
They are probably trying to reach my husband, who is on a bunch of robocaller telemarketers' lists after making a campaign donation; the list includes the one masquerading as one favorable to his candidate.
