Recording said: "Because we have been monitoring your credit and your excellent payment history you are now eligible to lower your interest rates at 0% for the next 12 months on your credit card accounts congratulations this is a one time offer. Press one to speak to a live representative now and complete your enrollment. Press one now and enjoy the savings. Goodbye." Sounds like scammers who want people to give them their credit card numbers.
Callback goes to a recording asking if you want to be on a "do not call list" to press 1. That's what I did.

They say they are monitoring my credit. They better not be, and they have no permission to do so. I am reporting this on the FTC website, and also NY State Dept. of State Consumer Protection. The only way to stop this nonsense is for the PHONE CARRIER to be held responsible. They know who is making millions of calls on their system, and they should turn over the info so these people can be fined.

I waited until a person came on the line and told them I was not interested in their service and would he please take me off of their call list. His reply was "all right my f*****g friend" and he hung up.
