Says on caller ID from NJ. If you answer the call, then they will instantly hang up.
They call me several times a week, so I finally called them back.
When you call the number back, "Julie" a pre-recorded message will say you have won a $100 dollar rebate card for recently visiting a website, press #1 to claim your card (which is probably a scam). They also offer the option to press #2 and they will put you on their do not call list. I opted for #2, I'm tired of them calling me and I doubt someone that hangs up on you when you answer is seriously going to give you a free $100 dollar gift card because you visited a website.
This number just now called me May 1, 2013 at 7:56p.m. It is a tip-off to me that the call not only occurred just before the turn of the next hour, but that it never rang. I got a buzz and that's it. It showed on my caller ID. I'm suspicious as to "who" has my number and how. Obviously, calling to see if number will ring.
Automated voice offering a new scheme for windows scrappage. I put the phone down on the table 'till they had finished speaking and then the phone went dead. We are registered will call preference and still get these calls. How can these calls be stopped?
I too signed up for a sweepstakes at Bass Pro Shops in the Silverton Casino. Received the call at 8:53 pm. I live in Las Vegas but my cell has a 323 area code.
