Called with heavy accent saying he was from the IRS. My wife told him to learn to speak english. He called her a moth******er and hung up.
Said he was from the IRS and similar to the above complaints. He called 3 times and left messages (almost indecipherable). Never returned the call and don't plan to.
Recorded message to reduce interest rate on credit cards I do not even hold. This is over the 20th call I have received in a month span all same message but from different numbers. How do i get them to stop?
calls come to my cell at least 10 times a day
Invidual called left several meassages o9n answering machine claiming to be federal agent When I called back got answering maching identify the invidual as federal agent. Tried agin later and got some one who was obivously indian claiminghe was a paralegal for the agent and I owed money for not filling in 1983. And i had to appear before the magistrate immediately and they would start siezing my bank accounts. It was very sloppy sounded like a call centewr operation but very thratening
I told him go ahead the satute of limition had expired and hung up.
caller calls about once a month..I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER, I have caller I.D. and do not answer unknown calls!
As with another person. The person on the other end of the phone, heavy Nigerian accent, said he was "going to call you every day" I told him that "I don't give a d**n you fuc#@! q***r. Then I hung up.
I was dumb enough to answer ---dead air so I hung up. I probable won a trip or something and the computer on the other end of the line didn't rewind the message before calling. Ha ha ha.
Claimed to be a Windows rep who knows that I had a problem with malware attached to my downloads. Spoke in a thick accent.
Told him he was totally wrong about my problem and he hung up on me. Lame.
Calls me multiple times a day and immediately hangs up whenever I answer
this julie hammond just called me no name of company no explanation of what or why she is calling the number she was calling from on my caller ID on my cell says 0000000000 she tried to say they are taking action i have no idea what she' talking about.
I missed a call from this # (202-808-3643) and someone named David Smith left me a message, that he works for IRS and said that i have a TAX FRAUD under my name and they already filing it and a number of nonbailable charges is being charged to me. if i did not call. So i called and someone answered the call they said that they are calling someone with the same name as mine... totally FRAUD the people i talked to have this accent that you cannot even understand and the backgroud is too loud that it looks like you are talking to someone in the freeway.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL, IF IRS IS PRESSING CHARGES ON YOU, THEY USUALLY SENT A LETTER FIRST... DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION
Called my cell phone. I called it back and it says "Welcome to Verizon Wireless, the number you dialed has changed, been disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel you reached this recording in error please check the number and try your call again later. Announcement 2 switch 3 0 5-2.
So I sent it a text message and got no answer but it went through fine. So obviously something is up there.
Claimed to be some type of security agency. Phone rang, I picked up, then silence for 45 seconds. Sometimes I listen just for kicks. Then a female voice saying "This is [blank] security agency. I asked why they took 45 seconds to answer, and they hung up.
I got a call today from this number; the girl had tell me that she work for the united states department of treasury grant that i am gonna receive a $9000.00 grd bcuz of my ontime bills ; she even call me by my full name that was very crazy and scary. I would like to know who the h**l is she and why she wanna f*** with me?
Got voice mail robo-call. Claimed to be from the IRS. Threatening tone. Right. I believe that. Maybe I could talk to Rachel from Card Services there? No way am I going to call them. Sigh. Another dirtbag to deal with. Maybe I'll just toss the phone. I'm so tired of these a-holes.
Recorded message stating FBI has reported break ins in my area every 10 minutes, asking that we allow them to place sign in our yard at no cost in reference to alarm system. Already requested my number be removed from calling list.
I would like this number blocked! I just began to receive calls.
This number left a message for my 10 year old daughter stating her possessions may be taken -- I suppose they could take her cabbage patch kid.
I ended up being called twice from this number. There was no one on the line, they left no message, and when I called back nobody picked up.
Following is a copy of a post I made to another site about this scammer.
Got another call the next day, but he didn't leave a message. Called back and he answered the phone "Dept. of Legal Affairs US Treasury." After a large number of "hellos" when I didn't respond, he hung up. Guess he doesn't have callerID, or he would have called back. There is a special website to report this type of impersonation: www.TIGTA.gov. Click the red button on the right labelled "IRS Impersonation Scam reporting." Apparently there is a lot of this happening, but I believe this guy is a real amateur because this is really his phone number, not spoofing someone else's. Maybe he's small potatoes that Treasury won't bother with. I'm thinking of buying a police whistle...
Other websites have identified this number as Google. I have saved the number to my caller ID under "spam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.
Had a very strange accent. Claimed I had 5 charges against me from the IRS and that they were going to court the same day of the call. Also said I have a warrant out for my arrest and to call back immediately.
These guys called today, it is just a scam. It's about money. They said $5700.00 or $587.00. I'm supposed to get Pay Power re-loadable card, it's got silver scratch off on the back, if it doesn't have a silver scratch off on the back I'm not supposed buy it. If there was a legal action against you a court order is sup and delivered via mail or by court courier. It is just a scam to get there money back.

Wow...I wish I wOuld have investigated this...missed a call from a north Carolina, called back, was told there 's a legal action being taken towards me from a Sprint bill that was $1200 but now it's 16 something from 2 years ago....but what makes this strange is the debt from Sprint isn't on my report anymore. The woman had info about my present address and 2 previous ones. Told me today (8/22/14) I was being served with papers to appear in court and I would and wage garnishment was a definite. Then gave 2 options, get on payment plan for $700 something dollars of pay $400 today....
I'm so annoyed with this stupid number calling me over and over every single day I want it to stop because when you answer there's nothing but silence and then after you say hello for the 3rd time they hang up on you and its annoying to get a call 20 times in one day. I wish I could find out where these stupid people are so i can punch them all in the face and get them to leave me alone or at least have manners when they call a person.
Foul language, told him to quit calling and he threatened terroristic threats against u.s.
Claims to be associated with u.s. government. Middle eastern accent trying to scam for funding
Calls repeatedly and hangs up. When I called the number I found out that it was a scam claiming to be a do not call registry called "Ibex" or something. Do NOT give them any personal information or bank/credit card numbers.
Recorded message says John calling about prepaid emergency alert system with prepaid shipping. Asked to press 1 if I wanted delivery or press 2 if I didn't want to take delivery. I pressed 2 and then heard the busy signal beeping - and I hung up. The calling from this number has been coming to us for weeks. I am thoroughly exasperated and annoyed by the frequency of these persistent interruptions!
Annoying fax tone. I received 4 call within 30 mins from this number. If they do not stop calling me I will get a lawyer to sue them.
This person will not stop texting me.
Stop calling me. This is getting ridiculous.
TEXT OF THE CALL: This message is intended for XXXX. Hi this is Sue Taylor(?) with the Department of Legal Affairs. Well, I'm calling you in regards to a very important issue. This is a verbal notification for you that there is some law enforcement action that has been started against your name. My number is 213-221-8472. I'll repeat that 213-221-8472. Now, in case for any reason you are busy (sic) to give me a call back, I would strongly suggest you to have your leading attorney to do it for you, as delay in calling us might end up into (sic) a legal mess for you. I hope you will take this advice and give me a call back as soon as possible. This is Sue Taylor with the Department of Legal Affairs looking forward to speak to you. Until then you have a great day. Goodbye.
So I got a call from 620222-0664 with the caller ID "Jesus Christ". Somehow I expected the Big JC wouldn't need a phone :-/
They told me if I didn't call them back with my case number that the sheriff would be out to pick me up! If you call them back you get an automated message.
This number has called several times in the last few days. We don't answer the phone anymore and they left no message.
from Voice Mail message: John Smith identified himself as an IRS Agent calling to inform me that an IRS Claim letter had been received and was being processed to a Federal Claims Office. Please call me back.
I got a call today from this number saying they were looking for my daughter. They had the first name right but she hadn't had the last name for 10 years. I ask them what it was about and they said she had a court date and that if she didn't call them they would issue a No-show, but that if she called them they could fix that. I think I'm going to call the number on another phone and say I'm her and see what they say. The number they gave me to return their call to was 877-445-0778. Looks like we're not the only ones to get calls from these people.
Recorded message says important information regarding account of person that is not at this number, requests I press 1 if I am that person. I am not that person so I did not press 1.
I am on National No Call list. I want this stopped. My phone rings 2-3 times then disconnects.
Every "Work From Home" plan I have tried was a rip off with ads full of lies.
Don't fall for these.
Nathan works for RPM which is a legit collection agency located in the State of Washington USA. We spoke with Nathan for at least 20 minutes who was very willing to answer all our questions. We are known to Nathan and Nathan is known to us also now. You on the other hand are unknown and probably have an outstanding debt and don't like the fact that someone is asking you to re-inburse the money you stole from them. If you don't like people like Nathan calling you why don't you block there incoming calls or don't answer in the first place. There are agency's who's sole purpose is to assist you in stopping collection calls. You can also send a cease and desist order which they have to abide by law. Of course you would have to get off your other end and instigate the motion yourself of course you are UNKNOWN complainer who wants everyone to know that you are not willing to do what it takes to stop unwanted calls. Contact Nathan at 866-212-7408 he will ask you to verify your phone number which he already has on his caller id screen to see if you possibly have an outstanding account in his agency which again is RPM (Receivables Payments Management) these professionals can get into big trouble if they treat consumers like some of the comments we are reading in this list where by the way you have commented also. Not willing to be known means you are probably lieing big time... later!
Has called my cell phone numerous times, never leaves message, finally blocked caller after finding this site.
recorded message saying I had ordered medical equipment and it is ready for shipment. I have not ordered any medical equipment so I hung up. I think this may be a scam and should be investigated.
After receiving numerous calls daily from this number I answered. They asked to speak with Mrs. Olson. There is no Mrs. Olson here. The caller proceeded to say they were calling from Charter and asked if I have Charter service. I said I did and told them not to call again. It is extremely poor business when a company calls and doesn't even know that I have their service. Shame on Charter. If they call again I will no longer be a customer.
Received a message from Officer Leeza Albert, said she was from the tax administration in Washington DC and that we are under federal investigation. She said to call the hotline division number at 202-241-2794. Heard alot of background noise.
Had another call back in April, same type of scam. So annoying!!
Claimed to be with ComEd when asked directly whether this was the case. After I voiced suspicion, agent said "I can't proceed with this phone call" and hung up. TRADE MISREPRESENTATION and FRAUD!! Complaint filed with FCC at http://complaints.donotcall.gov.
Missed call but checking my logs the ID read "GATCHA DUMASSFUCCA" Definitely did not program this and wondering if my cell phone has been hacked.
Recorded message said to press one to speak to a representative about their service. I pressed one and got a person. I then asked them to take me off their call list.
Called claiming initially to be GE wanting to know about my alarm system. The person failed to answer simple questions such as which facility they were calling from and whose name was on their paycheck. Once I went into audit mode the story changed that they were calling on behalf of GE security systems. Hmmm. I call B.S. :) Turns out there is a major telemarketing company out of Dublin OH.
PCCW Teleservices (US), Inc.
Phone: (614) 280-1600
Fax: (614) 280-1610
565 Metro Pl S Ste 250, Dublin, OH 43017
This appears to simply be a front for this Chinese owned company
What is even more interesting is that they have a home monitoring service:
After about five minutes of me asking intrusive (but polite) questions of them the nice lady hung up on me! :)
Have a Blessed Day
Receive weekly calls from this number. We ick up and phone is dead. Redial the number and get an announcement that the phone had been disconnected.
This number is on an Email that says I owe Nelnet. It is a scam.
This person called my place of employment and I happened to answer the phone, however I did not disclose who I was and wrote down the message. During the call there was a delay or pause after each sentence. He stated that I needed to call him as soon as possible because there is a "legal emergency". I've had several calls from different individuals using several law firm names. I'm just annoyed that if they cannot get me on my cell phone they will call my place of employment. There has to be a law against these people and what they are doing to us who are hard working, law abiding citizens. I just want the calls to stop. I've filed a complaint with FTC and Consumers Finance.
Called and said we needed to call back w/ our lawyer and discuss an issue with them. Very unprofessional on the message saying that if we didn't call back good luck with whatever happens to us. REALLY??? I called to tell them to stop but got a crazy message w/ broken English saying to leave a message.... I really feel like they are threatening us so i'm going to look further into reporting this...
Tried to buy something and said he needed the hauler to come pick it up. Pay through Paypal. Same old story as above. Beware, he knows the percentages and plays on your sympathy. Do not work with this person. Scum of the earth!!
Recorded message offering me lower interest rates on my credit card. They intentionally misrepresent themselves as my bank. I pressed one to speak with a representative and told them I was on the no call list, they immediately hung up. Please go after these jerks.
Annoying calls . no one answers. Shut them down.
Keep calling on a daily basis left one message lady said her name was Jennifer Lee Williams regarding an urgent matter but wouldn't say what company she was from just said that it was not a sales call
They won't leave us alone. There is no answer, no sound, but this is happening several times every day.
Recorded message offering funding for a furniture business. I selecdted the option to speak to someone Cory answered and I informed him I was filing a complaint, since this number has been on the registry for 10 years. He tried to provide some excuse, but I said their bad data and failure to utilize the federal list was not my problem.
Again, more of the same. Was pretty sure it was a scam, as they were looking for our daughter by her maiden name (been married for years). Crazy!
They called my cell phone, whose # I give to a really short list of people... They called twice in 1 minute. No voicemail.
says that I filed an a illegal federal case and they will pursue me at home, I do't know how they got my cel number
Heavy Indian or Pakistan accent. Claimed my computer was getting error messages. Asked her for my computer id and she could not answer. This is a SCAM!! Hang up and block their number.
We got two calls on 8/21/14 saying that a claim had been filed against us for tax evasion, and that we needed to call him back in order to avoid the claim being sent to a Federal Agency and/or possible arrest. The call was an automated call. We actually went to an IRS office to check this out, and did not call him back. The IRS Agent told us that it was a scam and that there would have been some sort of communication through mail. He also stated that they never make threats about an arrest. I HOPE THEY CATCH THIS GUY AND PROSECUTE HIM!!!
Go harass someone else you pervert.
Same exact thing to the letter, only this lady's name was Dorien. Her friend texted me and said she found me on Care.com. The thing that really alarmed me was her poor grammar and the fact that they were going to send me a check, plus a key to the apartment! Thanks to all for sharing.
Keep getting a call on my cell from this weird number. I accidentally answered once the other day but it actually started ringing like I was calling some one so I hung up. I am praying it isn't jacking my account and putting charges on my number.
