this is GE money. called my several times already. told me, i needed to pay off my debt. i never applied for a loan from them, the representative wouldn't listen. threatened me a lawsuit. these people are harassing me! where can i report them? Do i have legal options against them? please let me know if i can.
We are one month late with our $49 payment. The reason we're late is that I've been in the hospital and my husband can't log on to the system as it keeps giving an error message (there was some system change and it will not let him log on from any browser). He tried to call, then emailed GE, but got no response. In the last 4 days, we've received 25 hang up calls. Never ever doing business with these people again. Can you imagine if we owed a real sum of money? I guess they'd be coming by to break our legs!
This company calls using all types of numbers. The problem is my 80 year old Mom has an account with them to have teeth pulled. I never signed the application and can only think the dentist gave them my cell as I left it with them as another contact for my Mom. I don't owe these people any money and they won't stop calling. I put them on the reject list, but they should not be harassing people period. My Mom has been in and out of the hospital and almost died several times. I don't know who she has not paid or even how she can afford to pay anyone anymore. I advised bankruptcy, but the doesn't understand what I am trying to tell her. GE should not lend money to old people.Especially that old on fixed income. They are stupid and my Mom is not always capable of handling things, nor does she have the resources. In any case I can't pay her bill or I would. They don't need to call me.
I started getting these phone calls today & everytime I answer it it either hangs up on me or it says please hold on the line while your call is transferred & nothing happens. If it is what I think it is for I am 2 weeks late with a payment & plan on paying them when I get my next check. I think its a little pathetic that after 2 weeks of being late I'm already getting phone calls like this. They'll get their money when I get my money. I don't need to be getting these phone calls after 2 weeks.
Repeated phone calls from this number at home, on my personal cell and at my place of employment. I am not behind on any bills, have never been behind and have good credit. If this is a collection agency there is no reason for them to be calling me and NO ONE should be calling my personal cell or work number.
I've received numerous calls from this number throughout the past week. They never leave a message. I have been away from the phone when they call, but I see the numerous misses calls. It's incredibly rude and annoying for them to call over and over without leaving a single message!
It's credit company. My rule is: No message left on unknown number means the phone call isn't important and needs no attention or worries whatsoever.
I now struggle to make minimal payments and can't even make that, but not really worried. Pay as I have and don't pay as I don't. The simpliest formula. This is what I can do and what I will do. At the end if cash is accumulated with savings, bonuses or tax refunds, I'll call and negotiate to drop most of finance charges to pay remaining debt that could reach upto half of what I currently owe. I've done it in the past and I'll keep doin' it.
Calls multiple times a day all hours of the day and night. They have called as late as 11pm. They never leave a message. I called the number back after yet another late night call 9:45pm after getting a canned message to enter my account number, which I do not have. The call was transferred, then I get a message saying they are closed and to call back during business hours. If their offices are closed how am I getting calls from them?
