This number calls me in conjunction with an UNKNOWN number....originally, the unknown number called me and solicited a government grant program that I was eligible for. I told them not to call back. The guy could hardly speak english and was very hard to understand. For the next two days, he called me repeatedly. It sounded like he was in a call center making cold calls...Lots of background noise. The 917 number was a girl although I think he may have one of those voice changing software programs so either she works in teh same office with the unknown guy or he just uses the other number and uses teh software program to chnage his voice...Maddening!

This number calls numerous times a day. It is a recording and it says to enter "1" if you wish to be removed from their list. Well, I have entered "1" on many of their calls but they keep calling me. I want this STOPPED as of now. I don't know if I should submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Yesterday, I stayed on the line for 20 minutes waiting for a rep. to pick up at the above number. Finally I gave up because I'd probably still be on hold waiting for someone. Please help me out. I've received 18 voicemails from this number, and it sounds like they're in a bar in the background loud music alot of people talking... they dont always hang up either. overheard some girl talking to someone else going to meet that person at an apartment at ten o clock.... Is this some kind of escort service or something? Very very unprofessional!!! What are they trying to sell and why will they not stop calling?!

I have begun to start getting calls from 917 398 9727. When i dont reganize a mumber i dont answer it i let voicemail get it now i tried to go and block the number but it doesnt have info to block! I am already dealing with a harrasement situation and really dont want deal with another phone number issue. Make it stop!!

at first they did not answer--stayed on line and the gentleman said he saw me on line about buying a computer for business. I said I am not interested and hung up. This was the second time they called.

I am on a no call list and constantly have been bothered by these phones calls everyday, all day and evening!

I don't have a block feature on my phone either however.. what I do is go ahead and enter the number as a "new contact" then for the name.. just write in "DO NOT ANSWER" so next time you get this call like I have.. I konw NOT to answer it. It's simple and it works. They get tired of calling after a while. Hope that helps.

I just started getting these calls alway at 9:30 am and 11:30 am, thiers no one on the other end that ive noticed i dont stay on long enough for them to awnser anyways but its getting really annoying. the caller is from New York and thats all i really know.

why cant we put a stop to these unsolicited calls? This number calls all day and evening. I have others that do the same and I feel helpless. They dont give up

They also call me night and day, sometimes 3 times a day. this is the 4th complaint I've filed with the DNC Registry this week. They called me this morning at 9:00 AM. I didn't answer. NOTE: even though 917 is a NYC exchange, I did a search with the Better Business Bureau, and these scumbags are in Florida. Now, I'm going to send complaints to my Attorney General and Senator, here in NYC. This has gone from annoyance to HARASSMENT! I suggest everyone who posts here also complain to their State's Attorney Generals. BTW, if you answer the phone it just verifies they've reached a working number. If you hit a prompt t o be "taken off their list" they have no list, and probably will call you even more. This is accoring to the FTC.

this number calls my sons cell phone several times a day. We are on a do not call list as well and it is harassment. What good does it do to place your number on the do not call list when people still keep calling?

"I keep recieving calls from Peerless Network of New York (Yourschoolaawaits) on my cell phone. I have told them to stop several times. Once when I didn't answer I called the number back. There was a recording to press "1" to stop the calls. I did that. They just called me a gain. It was a real person when I answered. I yelled at them for calling me and told them that I already have told them to stop."

Another scumbag annoying innocent people who don't have time for this ****. Just imagine what they could do if they would put their skills to GOOD use instead of harrassing phone calls! The DNC registry is supposed to do criminal investigations into these numbers that call us. Some good their doing. I get more **** calls now than I did before I registered all my phones!
