Received a call last night. The caller told me he was calling from Comcast and had a bonus offer for me since I was a preferred customer and my payments are always on time. I found it very flattering and nice of them... they asked me to confirm last digits of my SS , my address and my full name as well as the payment options. Sounded like they had some info on file. Then they said they are activating free 1 year Cinemax as of now. When I saw no changes , I called Comcast directly and they thought I was crazy and my story made no sense. Have I been scammed by these people?
