I was "robo called" by this number. I was connected to someone and I asked them to take me off their list. The person then hung up on me. When I called back, the phone has a recording that the number is "unavailable.". This company called before and the same thing happened.
This call came in at 8:15 on a Saturday morning. Not the first time. This time I picked up and a little music played, followed by a hang up. Tried to call back and no one answered. Probably are checking for valid numbers but so rude. I am on the do not call list, but this doesn't seem to matter much any more.
The guy who called claimed to be from TAI, a "professional fund raiser." Told him we are on the do not call list and he replied "we're exempt." Told him not to call me again and he replied "I'll call you tomorrow."
This is why we do not answer our phone.!
Are you ready for this the freak calls and there's music playing in the back round... MERRY GO ROUND MUSIC.....
I answer and when I say something he mocked me and then when I ask who is this he started laughing and he hung up. Just got the call 5-10min ago....
Just comes up on the caller ID as "Illinois Call". When I answered the phone, no one was there, and then it disconnected. I have learned not to call these numbers back because it just encourages them to continue to call, since they know they are bothering you. We even re-connected the Tele Zapper, yep, still have one, but these calls still get through. By reading some of these comments, I guess this is how some people get their jollies...by bothering those of us who work, and have lives. To each his own.
