She claimed to be from Chase. She asked about my recent experience and if I could take a survey. (wth is she talking about) Then she asked if it was a good time to take a short survey. I told her no that I was at work. Then she hung up without saying anything at all.
They have been calling every day, multiple times a day. Today I called the # back and got a recording stating I was called by them for a survey from Chase bank (where I bank) asking for feedback about a recent branch visit. There was no information about how to stop the calls or get my number removed from their list. I guess now I will complain to the bank!
I received a call from this number tonight. The woman asked me if this was my name. I replied yes. She asked me if I was willing to answer a survey with my experience at my local Chase bank.
It made me nervous. You hear about the news stories about how people are scammed, and that banks will never call you and ask for your personal information. So when she mentioned the city of my local bank, and asked if I had visited it within the week, I politely explained how I didn't feel comfortable with the call. She told me that she understood, and hung up.
I called Chase afterward, where the representative looked up the number on my caller id. He said that it didn't match any of their records, and that my complaint would be forwarded to their fraud department for further investigation.
Sounds shady, and hoping that call is the last that I hear from them!
These people called 3 times today claiming to be from Chase or Chase Investments, my law enforcement contacts all agreed that this sounds like another scam from no good lowlifes. Proceed with caution otherwise ignore like my husband and I have been doing and will continue to do if they dare call again.
I missed the call, and they didn't leave a message, but I did receive a different automated call from "Chase" recently claiming that there was fraudulent activity on my account. When the call asked me to input my 16-digit card number, I hung up and called Chase. The Chase rep noted that the call was not theirs and they had received multiple complaints recently.
I bought a Call Blocker.... works incredibly well. No calls after a few more tries from them, they gave up. Cost was only $50. No monthly charge, no useage charge. Just plug it in and hit the Blacklist button. If they call again all you hear is one ring. THEY only hear a brief clip of a ring then dead-air. Worth its weight in gold.
