Text say I won $1000 WalMart Gift card. Sounds like a scam.

Got this text, called Sprint to have them stop it. Was told they could prevent this scammer from texting my phone, but they cannot (figure out how to) stop all messages to Sprint customers. Explanation from Sprint operator was even more bizarre. "You get spam in your email, and you get spam from us. I've still got a charge for $9.99 each month and I can't get them to stop." Sad to hear that Sprint doesn't know how to write simple software code.

Received a text message saying I won a $1000 Walmart gift card and had to go to www.wmartproduct.com for more details.

I recieved the message stating:Dear Walmart shopper,Congratulations you have just won a $1000 Walmart Gift Card. Click here to claim your gift. www.WmartProduct.com cancel: reply STOP

text message on 2 different cell phone numbers with the same message stating, "Dear Walmart shopper, Congratulations you have just won $1000 Walmart Gift Card. Click here to claim your gift. www.WmartClick.com (cancel: reply STOP)"
