Caller id states Card Member Services. We are tired of them calling. We have received numerous calls. We are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but they still call. We have asked them to stop calling but they continue calling. 706-805-1775
Another call from Cardmember Services, I have told them numerous times to put me on their DO NOT Call List, I have filed many complaints with the FTC and the Texas State Attorney General, I have been downright rude to them many times, all with no effect, they just keep calling. Now if I don't recognize the number I just don't answer. The FTC has been absolutely useless in enforcing the complaints that have been filed.
When I asked for the guys name/phone number, he started calling me names and using the "F" word when I said I was reporting to FCC. I mean, really cussed me up one side and down another - every other word was the "F" word. How/where do I complain about this?!?

We have received dozens of calls from this number and the organization behind the number -- Cardmember services -- overe the last few years -- even thought we are on the do not call list. Tonight I answered the call --- after listening to their bogus message that this is my last chance, or something to that effect. and I proceeded to push the number to get me to an operator, who became indignant when I asked for the name of the the organization behind the call. "Cardmember Services" is a bogus, dishonest organization from the get go -- from their messaging to the fact that they do not honor the Do not call list. I suspect their business practices -- helping errant credit card users 'refinance' what they owe -- is also a sham. Bottom line, this is the type of organization that is probably making it's unethical owners a lot of money for now -- and our only hope is that at some point the proper authorities will look into Cardmember Services' phone practices and prosecute these folks for what they are -- a blight upon society and those who honor the sanctity of a person's privacy now protected by do not call regulations.
Received call from computer (706-805-1775 "Cardmember Services"). Pressed 1 to speak with someone and the computer said I was number 17 in line! (Here's an idea...if you have calls waiting don't call more people...take a break or something because I'm not sitting on hold for a computer.) So I hung up. Shortly afterward (1-2 minutes) phone rang and it was a "wireless caller" 978-578-8999. I said hello and got "why did you push the button if you didn't want to talk?" I told her the computer I was #17 in line. "Then why did you keep pushing buttons?" I did not. Asked for company name, place on do-not-call, etc. Refused to answer any of my questions and when she was done chewing me out she hung up on me. I'm pretty sure something about that's illegal.
CardMember Services has me several times daily for close to a year. I am on the Do Not Call Registry, and I have filed numerous complaints. I just used Charter's Call Screening option to block calls from this number. Let's see if it works.
I have received calls from these a******s for years. Hundreds I swear. I've begged, pleaded and threatened to hunt them down. How can I make them STOP??? Daily I'm getting them and even telling them I've never had a credit card doesn't help. Yesterday and today I waited and talked to a human. My 207th final notice.
Getting calls for several months on landline phone. Could be a case phising but certainly the message raises a red flag for FRAUD. Plan to call back from work to gain additional information to report to the FCC AND STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE. More than likely the culprit is in a foreign country. Russia, Dubai, and China is top on the list.
I have received the Cardmember Services call on my Office Phone and Company Mobile Phone. I finally pressed "1" to get to a live person and ask them to place me on the Do-Not-Call List. That person hung up on me without saying a word. I called the number back from my office phone and received an automated message that I can press "1" to be placed on the do not call list or "2" to enter another number. Fingers crossed that these annoying calls will stop! I'm not sure I'd trust pressing "2" and giving them another phone number!
The FCC has more than 250,000 complaints against these people and have recently filed cease and desist orders against five operating sites in five different states, operating under hundreds of DBAs. But they just shut down and pop up again somewhere else. I have been told (by some computer geek friends) that they are actually oversees and running their operations through dummy corporations in the US.
I'm also on state & national no-call lists, but continue to get these. Have reported similar calls to state AG. Their response is the number is being spoofed, is off shore, and there is nothing the attorney general can do about it. Absolutely infuriating!!!!
I have now managed to block this number. The DO NOT CALL government entity works about as well as all the other programs the government does. The president and congress can't run anything, including healthcare, the post office, General Motors, Immigration, education, you get my point. Throw the crooked bums out - there I said it, the CIA will probably ask the IRS to audit me. UGHHHH
I keep getting last notices about my credit card. I tried to get off their list, and they say they would remove me. Today, I lost patience and told them this was MY final notice and that I was going to complain about them. The guy just hung up.... What can be done about those pests? We are on a no call list
