I received a voice-mail from this caller, soliciting a cell phone survey. The voice was that of a young sounding man. A short time later, I received a text message from this number, (315) 243-0189, listing a web address to claim a $1000 gift card from Best Buy. I found that the same text is also originating from this number, (407) 456-0337. It is highly unusual for me to receive spam on my phone. Therefore, these 3 number must be from the same source.
Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.
Called for the second time knowing they are calling me on my cell phone to take a 5 minute survey. For the second time I told them I am not interested. The insisted it was "really important". I gave them 2 more "I am not interested" responses and hung up.
I told them to stop calling and to take me off their list I was on the "Do not call list". They paid no attention and call me EVERY DAY! They call on my cell which I told them I have to pay for every call. They won't stop. What kind of S*#*t is this? I thought the Gov registry took care of this.
Called my cell phone & I didn't answer. I have rec'd a call for a survey recently from another #, and YES it was a scam. This is most likely to same type of scammer. The other caller wanted to offer a "Free Cruise to the Bahamas" when they asked for $118 to 'save the trip" - I refused to pay ANYTHING at all. They said they could 'giveaway' these free trips because the cruise was not fully booked & I could take the trip anytime within the next 18 months. Well I know these cruises are NOT booked out for the next 18 months. The $118 fees were "port fess". TOTAL SCAM
