BEWARE! this number keep calling my office number and then hangs up! it is from Phoenix, AZ. I researched it and it can be traced to some company with offshore connections.
I am reporting it to my State Attorney General's Office - please do the same.
This is Walgreens phone robot calling trying to get old people to order more Rx. Once Walgreens has your phone number, they "opt" you into such calls. Just answer and press #8 to be removed. This clearly violates the DNC service. I've never requested Walgreens call. More computerized spam - thanks walgreens! Now go sell more drugs and flu vacancies to old people
Got to calls and second one left another one with message to call. They wanted DL # and date of birth. Supposedly Walgreen's. Checked with our local pharmacy and they never heard of it. The recordings were the same recorded woman that leaves a message that your prescriptions have been filled
TWO CALLS TODAY - LAST ONE LEFT MESSAGE ADVISEING OF REFILL REMINDER - AND SAID THAT I NEEDED TO CALL BACK SOME 800 NUMBER WITH IN 24 HOURS. CALLED THE LOCAL WALGREENS AND THEY COULDN'T CONFIRM WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS JUST A REMINDER CALL, BUT DID SAY THAT IT'S NOT NORMAL TO HAVE THE MESSAGE WITH A 24 HOUR TIME FRAME NOTED ON IT. GUESS WHAT? THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE REFILL SET UP AT THE PHARMACY THAT I USE - SO WHY AFTER YEARS AT THE SAME PHARMACY DO I START GETTING REMINDER CALLS THAT SOMETIMES LEAVE MESSAGES AND SOMETIMES NOT AND DEMAND THAT I RETURN THE PHONE CALL TO SOME 800 NUMBER WHEN ALL I NEED TO DO FOR A REFILL IS CALL MY LOCAL WALGREENS... I THINK THIS IS A SCAM.
I received a call from this number twice this morning. It sounded like the usual Walgreens computerized voice(pleasant) but it asked for date of birth and driver's license number. Very weird. Also, it mentioned my wife's name but it was my cell phone. Very strange. I guess someone is fishing so they can steal people's identitities.
I live in Jacksonville,Fl. and i sure got a call from this # and its walgreens telling me to get a refill and they needed my DL # and birthday!! But its very strange to get a call about that and I DO NOT LIVE NOR NEVER HAVE LIVED ANYWHERE BUT FLORIDA!!!! SO WEIRD!!!! I suggest not to answer or give out ANY personal info to this caller!!!!!
This people pretends to be walgreens trying to collect personal information, targeting older people thinking that this age group are dumm ,stuppid ,this kind of scam has to be stopped we have enough theives on the streets to now have to deal with theives through the phonne.
Today I received a call from this number, but it did not leave a message, the weir thing is that I also received another call two minutes later from another number that I don't know neither and in case the number is 919-443-1610, be ware is a lot of people trying their best in the worst way possible to still from you , don't provided any personal information through the phone as social, birth day ect, ect
It is a scam from those thieves trying to collect people 's info. Be careful and put it on your ignored or unwanted list. They have been trying to call me every now and then throughout the year. We should report this number and let them investigate if its truly from Walgreens which I feel they shouldn't bother us.
This caller is not from Walgreen's. It is a scam trying to get your driver license #, date of birth, and other information about you. If you really think the call was from Walgreen's, just call your local Walgreen's drug store and ask them if they have such a reminder service located in Arizona, and if your drugs are waiting for you at your local store. I did, and they knew nothing about the matter.....
Called cell phone left no message. Called back and said it was Walgreens. New my name, but I selected that it was not me. Hoping they don't call back. I called from work number and got same Walgreens message, but they did not know who I was. Will contact my local store and see what's up. Bunch of BS is what it is!!!
This is not a scam or a wierd phone call. Your number was given as contact number for an auto refill remonder for a prescription that has auto refills on it. If you answer the security questions you can find out what refill it is and either fill it or call into tellthem to cancel all the auto refill for that prescription. Typically when you get a prescription for something it will have multiple refills of that item availble for you to get afteryou finish your initial refill.
