Received a text message informing me that I won a Best Buy $1000 gift card and directing me to Winatbestbuy.com. Went to the site and it required me to sign up for offers from various companies prior to claiming the card. I don't think Best Buy would do such thing.

This scam is not only an invasion of privacy and an annoyance, it also has robbed me of the time it has taken for me first to investigate the legitimacy of the claim, and then to make this complaint.

Got the same message on the 3rd "Your Entry Last Month Has Won!! Goto http://WinAtBestBuy.com and Enter Your Winning Code....." This is horrible, I never leave my cell # on anything and now rather than getting a boost I'm gonna get hit with a text charge from my phone carrier.... Yeahhhh Scammers (scarcasm)!!

My dad called me at work to tell me that he had received a text saying that he had won a $1000 gift card from Best Buy and asked if I could help him find out if it was real because he didn't remember entering any kind of contest. So, the first thing I did was Google the website and what I found was several sites reporting them as a scam. The number he was texted from is 901.262.0962

Received same Best But text scam in the middle of the night. The number was 412-417-0458. I am going to contact Best Buy to see if they are doing anything to get to the bottom of this.

Got one to from the 407-257-1780 number - directed me to the same website winatbestbuy.com and enter your winning Code. Checked out this website first and didnt reply back. Thank you all :-) What a scam!!!!
