I GOT THAT SAME MESSAGE, "YOU HAVE A VISA WITH A FREE $1000 VALUE", SENT TO MY CELL. I MUST ASSUME IT IS ALSO A PHISHING SCHEME.

Received a very similar text message from 770-241-5418 that said: "We have selected you to qualify for a $1ooo GIFT CARD - PARTICIPATION is REQUIRED: See details at: www.reward-giftsite.com #OFF to 0PT.0UT" How come they can use zeros instead of Os for "opt out" but not for 1000? Makes me think that "gift card" is for $1 and that there is no real way to opt out, so I'm not even going to try it. They may sell my number to someone else if they know I'm responsive. This site is shady as all get out.

Not the same number but similar message: "You have been picked for our daily REWARD GIFT worth 1000 DOLLARS! Please go to www.reward-giftsite.com to begin write #OFF" Very sketchy. Glad I googled it before doing anything.
