Call :(302) 351-6184 (441858-XXXX AchieveCardFrozen) This was sent to my verizon cell phone #. When called the # it asks for SS# and 16 digit CC# so of course this has to be a SCAM.

Received a text from this person to call (302) 3516184. I checked the internet and found this. I do not even have an Achieve Card. I own a verizon phone as well as the person above me does. I would highly suspect this is an attempt to scam people.

Call :(302) 351-6184 (441858-XXXX AchieveCardLimited) This number text my Verison phone at 19:52 with the above message. I was kind of confused at first. I checked all my card numbers and none of them matched the first digits of the card number they sent to me. I called the number to see what company/bank it was with and when the computerized system picked up they asked me for my social. I then knew something was not right because I have NEVER had any bank auto voice system ask me for my social. I immediately hung up and start to do research and found this site... FRAUDULENT ACTS LIKE THIS HAVE TO BE STOPPED!

The Vtext message received by you is indeed a scam. Similar messages are sent to thousands of phone numbers. Some of those who have account may fall for the scam, thinking it's a genuine alert. The automated system will ask the victim to key-in, card number, name, date of birth and even the security code! And at the end of it, it will declare that your card is reactivated! We should call our banks only at itís official phone number which would be at the back of the bank card. Scammers call and send text messages pretending to be a Bank and will either direct victims to a phishing site or would try to extract account info over the phone.

Just got the same BS over my at 8:24 pm CST. and says the same as everyone to call this phone number but I most certainly did not. Sad that they can't catch whoever is pulling these Ronald McDonald scams... sucks that all Verizon carriers are the ones getting these messages and makes ya think somewhere some of your info has been breached...
