This company calls 2-3 times per day. When I push the button to speak to a person they then hang up on me when I ask them to quit calling.

SPAM caller, automated call from a "security" company. IRONICALLY, their number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Don't tell people if you have an alarm system already people, you don't know who it is on the other line, and they already know your number and likely address.
