phone rang, I answered, nobody there. Probably calls dozens at the same time, first one gets some sales or scam pitch. It is a shame we can't make the phone melt down....

Recording says there is nothing wrong with your credit at this time but to lower your interest rate press 1. They use many different numbers. I didn't get anyone to answer when I pressed 1 this time. Normally I press 1 and someone answers. I tell them I don't have a credit card and before I can finish the sentence don't call me again, they have hung up. Sometimes I will say take me off your list. The could win a contest in the fastest person to hang up a phone to get to the next person. I believe it is a scam to get a person's credit card information.

Just another of the thousands of numbers these scammers call from. These folks need to be put down like rabid dogs, and we are the ones to do it. Report to the FCC & FTC. They deserve jail time.

Advertising a chance to overcome high interest rates on credit cards. the name is unknown. There was no option to delete from the call list. Get them to discontinue. Legal action should be taken.

When I pressed one and asked how they got my number guy told me he just answered the phone and didn't know how my number was put in their system or what I applied for. Told him I didn't own a credit card and wanted to know how to be removed from their calling list since I am on both do not call lists and he was calling a cell phone. He informed me he went to school to learn his job and had a degree for what he did and could not remove me and for me to have a blessed day and hung up. Since when do you have a degree to be an ANNOYING TELEMARKETER.

Scam caller truied to get your credit card number. Told the person they should not be doing that and she said shut up. I noticed all the recordning messages are from "Rachael".

"Card Services" saying nothing is wrong, but they want to help lower credit costs. They are calling a cell phone and have called numerous times. Pressed 1 once, got a person, and got the quick hangup others have described.

called and when I wen to answer, they hung up. I checked this # on line and seems like a scam. telemarketer. Called on my cell phone and I didn't know the caller. upset 'cause I am on the do not call lists.

I get calls like this from various locations - CA, WA, MA etc. I have tried in the past to press #1 and tell the person to take me off their call list but they hang up on me immediately. I don't even asnwer the calls anymore.

Called at 10 a.m.. Googled the number and it shows up as Stockton, California. Called from my blocked number and they said they couldn't accept and to please put in the number or call back from the right one. I entered the telephone number for Homeland Security. 202-282-8000 I sure wish THEY would do something about this OBVIOUS SCAM. Why won't they? Anyone have a guess?

Just finished calling this number again. I called back from my blocked phone and entered the number. Then I hung up and called back again. This time I pressed the key that said to remove me from the list. I have done this in the past and been called again ANYWAY. So guess what number I entered to have removed? Yep! You guessed it. The number I entered was for Homeland Security. Again. I hope they bother the fk out of them and get tossed in Gitmo for crimes against the American Taxpayers.

they wanted to lower my interest rate to 6.5, scam since my none of my CC's have a rate that high, when I asked them to remove me they promptly hung up, they call 2x a week

continuous calls to both my home and cell numbers which are on the do not call list......if you do press #1 and ask to be removed from their list, they hang up........how can this be stopped???

A call that has no voice on the line. Probably, the robo dialer was too fast for the boiler room staff.

I have been to the BB "Better business" people and hundereds and thousands of compaints about this Scam. If you press one they've got you. My advivce is to just keep reporting them.

I no longer answer any calls with the 209 prefix. It's always this scam. They hung up on me when I answered the call the 1st time. Rude and annoying. I get their calls a couple times a week now, which I just know not to answer. Hope this scam gets stopped!

This debt consolidation/credit card interest rate lowering company has called me several times in several months. Any time I ask to be removed from the list, they hang up on me. Any ideas how to report them further?
