Exactly the same happened to me. The person has phoned three times now and when we answer, the caller hangs up.

They phone my girlfriend asking for me, as the phone is in my name. she gives them my other cell number and they never call me.

they identified themselves as vodacom and asked to speak to my husband. I gave them his alternative contact number and they never called him.

this person calls me everyday and when i pick up he drops the fone on my ear,and when i call them back the phone is then closed is noe really starting to annoy me.

Missed 3 calls within 2 hours from this number- not the first time this has happened, I have a feeling they have called before and when I answered they put down too. No idea why they have my number or the purpose of the call but this should be stopped..

My phone rings up to 4 times a day, but when I answer, there is nothing!!! Even more of a waiste of my time than them actually answering! Please can we have this call centre removed!!!???

Have called me every day for the past week! They called three times while I was typing this! There appears to be a general pattern of calling around 9:30 and 15:30. Have answered, no one responds. They left a voicemail once which didn't say anything. Have called back, no answer. Beyond irritating!

I have just had the same issue. Its 09:00am and I got a call and when I pick up they put the phone down. Wish someone would just sort this number out because it is very irritating.

I received two calls today. One was from this number and the other from 0873104296. When I pick up there is just no voice on the other side. Is anyone tracing this number?

I've been having the same issue! Been going on for quite a while now!! I get at least 4 call a day. Whenever I call back it says "number is unavailable " and to please check number. Is every one that is having this problem with Vodacom? I would really like to understand what the point of this annoying call is!

They(Indian women) are after confirmation of -who you are(name), -what phone, -what cell number They already know a lot about all of the above and more. I asked why they call and they said it is a Vodacom courtesy call. From 031 Durban? I think they are either spam generators or Simcard swappers!

I got a call from the Indian woman confirming my name, phone, contract and if im happy with my vodacom contract. she claims to be from vodacom. I called vodacom to ask them if they are doing such calls and they said yes. Im still not comfortable with the whole thing because of the latest simswap scams
